Basically, people, if you recommend me to someone, please mention and explain to them that if they message me privately, I will ask questions, and a lot of them, because I need to make sure I am safe and how the person found me. This is my personal quirk, a basic security measure.
Because I might not remember where I left a trace.
Maybe my number was leaked somewhere.

Yes, it might sound rude, yes, it's unpleasant to answer questions. But in that case, I can't vouch for myself either, and if a person behaves suspiciously, I just block them, thanks for your attention.

If it's a scammer, you just drag the conversation out until it becomes so tedious that they give up on their own.
Or you pretend to be a different personality so they never really understand who they wrote to.
