​​#tm_review On the 6th of December president of Astana Toastmasters club Yerlan Meirbek conducted first ever online meeting in Kazakhstan. 👌🏼🎊

Following clubs took part in the meeting: Astana Toastmasters, Almaty Toastmasters, Aktobe Toastmasters, Karaganda toastmasters even Pavlodar toastmasters. Also there was one spectator from Toastmasters Polska SA 🇵🇱

The maximum number of participants was 2️⃣3️⃣ almost like during usual meeting!

Undoubtedly all role-takers and speakers were very well prepared and it was a pleasure to witness this meeting. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

However online meetings have several limitations:
🔹it was impossible to interact with the audience and consequently the effect of the speech couldn’t be evaluated
🔹speakers were limited with their body language as they were mainly sitting
🔹it was quite hard to conduct Table Topics Session as you didn’t see all people and Table Topic Master couldn’t pick anyone he wanted
🔹 every hour we were kicked out of the free trial version of a conference room and we had to return

For the next meeting it can be proposed to get unlimited access to conference room, ask all spectators to turn on their cameras and may be to turn on the sound after each speech and clap to support! 👏🏼✊🏼

Overall it was a historic moment and if you’ve missed come to the next one!🤓
