Hello guys, we at TMP starting a mentorship program for MPSC( Maharashtra Public service Commission)

Mpsc ने आपला मेन्स चा पॅटर्न २०२५ पासून बदलण्याची घोषणा केलेली आहे. हा नवीन पॅटर्न UPSC च्या पॅटर्नशी मिळता जुळता आहे. त्यासाठी विद्यार्थ्यांना लिखाण कसे करावे, कोणत्या बाबींवर विशेष लक्ष देणे गरजेचे आहे ह्याचे मार्गदर्शन देण्याचा प्रयत्न ह्या चॅनेलद्वारे केला जाईल.

MPSC च्या जुन्या पॅटर्नमध्ये मुख्य परीक्षा ही objective (MCQ based) होती. त्यामुळे बऱ्याच विद्यार्थ्यांना लेखी परीक्षेची तयारी कशी करावी? नवीन सिलॅबसचा अभ्यास कशातऱ्हेने करावा? ह्याची पूर्णपणे कल्पना नाही. हीच समस्या सोडवण्यासाठी हा चॅनेल बनविण्यात आला आहे.

चॅनेलचा मुख्य फोकस उत्तर लेखन कौशल्य सुधारण्यावर ( Answer writing skill development) राहील.

MPSC ने नवीन पॅटर्न लागूच महाराष्ट्राचा टक्का UPSC मध्ये वाढावा ह्यासाठी केला आहे. त्यामुळे चॅनेल वर MPSC सोबत UPSC साठी देखील मार्गदर्शन केले जाईल.

Main focus of the channel will be on providing mentorship support to civil services aspirants. We have observed that students join coachings but many coachings just complete the syllabus but don't tell students how to approach the exam? How to write answers as per demand of the questions? What areas to focus on?
So TMP will try to fulfill this gap by providing mentorship which will be based on the idea of "Right approach" to succeed in civil services exam.

Revised syllabus of state services exam(MPSC)

We will be decoding this syllabus in coming days. And we will see what resources are to be followed to complete the syllabus in 360° manner.

Till January 2025 our focus will be on covering mains syllabus (GS & Optional). And then we will shift our focus towards prelims exam.

For prelims
In the ocean of study material, we will be following very focused approach for prelims. We will follow the approach of " minimum input(material wise), maximum output"

How to get maximum output in minimum input?

Yaha pe minimum input ko minimum efforts se confuse mat karna. Efforts wise hame apna 100% dena hai. But I have seen many candidates jo efforts dete hai lekin sahi direction me nahi dete, agar unhe sahi direction dikhaya Jaye , konse materials follow karne hai , mcq practice kaise karni hai ye sab ache se samjhaya jaye to candidates ke efforts ka maximum output bhi nikalega.
To yaha pe yahi try karenge ki candidates ko sahi direction dikhayi jaye(via personal mentorship). Hamara Target hi yahi hai ki aap preparation me misguided na rahe.

Jab bhi ham kisi exam ki preparation start karte hai tab exam ki demand samjhane ke 2 ways hote hai.
1. Syllabus - jo ki mpsc ne release Kiya hai so we just have to stick to it.
2. PYQs- yaha pe major issue hai kyuki next year first time MPSC mains will be held as per the new pattern n we don't know what type of questions will be asked in the mains. But MPSC ne jaise UPSC ka syllabus almost copy Kiya hai waise hi question puchne ka pattern bhi UPSC jaisa reh sakta hai.. to ham UPSC ke PYQs ko as a benchmark use kar sakte hai.

If you are aiming for 2025 MPSC, you have to start mains preparation now. Prelims ke bad mains ko scratch se prepare karna possible nahi hoga . Mains me apko prelims se bahut sari extra chize bhi karni hai like -
1. Optional
2. GS1- society,
3. Gs2- social justice, governance, international relations
4. GS3- Indian agriculture, disaster management, science and technology (in mains, focus will be on application based questions), disaster management and internal security.
5. Gs4- Ethics
6. Essay

First of all, if you have not selected your optional subject yet, then select it ASAP.
Some tips to select your optional subject-
1. If you have done graduation in that subject then you can go for it because you are already familiar with the subject.
2. If you don't want to choose your graduation subject, then try to read the syllabus given by MPSC and filter out 2-3 subjects which you think you have interest in it. Then have a look at UPSC PYQs of that subject. And then you can take a calculative decision on which subject to take.
3. Try to choose such a subject which have sound guidance in the market and which have sufficient material available to cover the syllabus in holistic manner.

सर्वप्रथम, तुम्ही तुमचा ऐच्छिक विषय अद्याप निवडला नसेल, तर तो लवकरात लवकर निवडा.
तुमचा ऐच्छिक विषय निवडण्यासाठी काही टिप्स-
1. जर तुम्ही त्या विषयात ग्रॅज्युएशन केले असेल तर तुम्ही त्यासाठी जाऊ शकता कारण तुम्हाला त्या विषयाची आधीच ओळख आहे.
2. जर तुम्हाला तुमचा ग्रॅज्युएशन विषय निवडायचा नसेल, तर MPSC ने दिलेला अभ्यासक्रम वाचण्याचा प्रयत्न करा आणि तुम्हाला त्यात स्वारस्य आहे असे 2-3 विषय फिल्टर करा. मग त्या विषयाचे UPSC PYQ पहा. आणि मग कोणता विषय घ्यायचा याचा गणनात्मक निर्णय घेऊ शकता.
3. असा विषय निवडण्याचा प्रयत्न करा ज्यात बाजारामध्ये योग्य मार्गदर्शन असेल आणि ज्यामध्ये सर्वांगीण पद्धतीने अभ्यासक्रम कव्हर करण्यासाठी पुरेसे साहित्य उपलब्ध असेल.
