There was a divide by zero panic caused by an edge case when the advanced swap queue was toggled off for an investigation this morning. This patch should mitigate the panic and allow block production to resume once a quorum of the network has applied the update. Once block production resumes we will halt trading and signing until all chains have caught back up to tip.

This release contains a handful of optimizations to reduce scanner latency, in particular on BSC and BASE. It should also significantly reduce Bifrost CPU load. This is most critical for any nodes that remain behind in scanning - no rush for nodes that are already keeping up. If you have been falling behind please take note that you may need to soon consider faster clock processors or lower latency storage, as the latency of the RPC block and receipt calls themselves are by far the largest contributing factors to the scan latency per block (and we continue to see increasing transaction counts on these chains).

## Ethereum Scanning Auto Halt
There is logic around cancel transactions which incurs a slash to correct the vault balance and account for the gas cost of the cancel transaction. There is also logic to automatically halt a chain when there is a slash over a certain threshold - currently set to 100 RUNE. The combination of a severe spike in Ethereum gas price and simultaneous drop in RUNE price caused a few cancel transactions to auto-halt the Ethereum scanner.
Devs will consider improvements to the logic, but in the meantime suggest a mimir vote to increase the `PauseOnSlashThreshold` from 100 RUNE to 500 RUNE to reduce likelihood for disruption.

The following multi-node operators are falling behind on TRON scanning (some persistently and some periodically):

This has not caused significant disruption and only the occasional reschedule, but we are riding the line on lagging consensus. If your scanning lag is not due to expected maintenance, please monitor your lag and ensure you have adequate resources for the daemon - share it between fewer Bifrosts if needed. There is strong daily periodicity in the TRON chain load, so ensure you are provisioning appropriately considering the higher load periods during the day.
If you are struggling and have limited near term ability to address resource issues you can also experiment with the prefetch functionality that was added in `3.11.2` on TRON by setting `BIFROST_CHAINS_TRON_BLOCK_SCANNER_PREFETCH_BLOCKS=2` in your Bifrost environment config.
