GM guys, checking in. Has anyone been cooking anything or we all being patient still? Many people I'm in groupchats with haven't even done a transaction on-chain recently. I think that's going to change soon. We may be reaching the end of this consolidation period for BTC and that will lift onchain again.

my story so far

Started in January 2021 with very limited knowledge of crypto

Put my 3k student loan into the market

I spent everyday neglecting most other aspects of life to learn as much as possible about the basics

I graduated uni in summer 2021 (with a good grade despite being obsessed with crypto for my last 6 months of uni) and decided I was going to give full time crypto a go

by the end of 2021 I had 250k and had spent about 100k of gains irl on top of that so I’d essentially more than 100x’d my initial

2022 I didn’t read the coming crash and got stuck in up-only mentality due to lack of experience among other things

I kept investing my portfolio and got crushed by NFTs dying and the general market downturn

I roundtripped the vast majority of what i kept in the market, went down to lower 5 figs

I just kept trading and trying to make money full time through 2022 without much success but just enough to survive

In Q2 2023 I ramped up my efforts knowing that it was kind of a ‘last chance saloon’ situation

My increased market participation and focus got my portfolio growing again - I also attribute this to just sheer experience and sticking through the bad times, learning what worked and what didn’t

By late 2023 my portfolio had surpassed previous ATH

In Q1 2024 I had 3x’d from my 2021 ATH

and now I’m just sitting on my hands with large allocations in ETH and stablecoins across many wallets and exchanges (spreading your assets so there is no one point of failure is important in the crypto environment)

And I’m waiting for the next period of easy mode because I know what works for me

The lesson is nothing can beat simply spending time learning how to do this

there are no shortcuts to success if you want this to be your full-time income

You just have to take a leap of faith and make a fist of it

Anyone can do it with enough time and dedication

Nice! Bought the $JJ lows at $1.5M and it made new ATH of $7.4M earlier: now chilling around $4M. A good trade but I’m holding because it has good potential.

Gm gm chads. Time to let you in on a thesis of mine. For many months I have been accumulating some $XPAY token on eth 0xf2fDD9c25D7BC8002ce89716d1be484b2D976944. It's currently at 870k. Thesis is when Elon finally launches xpay it will moon. We shall see. Similar style of play to the early trump tokens that eventually sent hard after many months of accumulation.
