Andrzej Bargiel, a multiple-time Polish champion and former member of the Polish national ski mountaineering team, has become the first athlete who scaled Nanga Parbat (8,126 m above sea level) and descended 4,400 meters on skis without bottled oxygen.

The polish athlete had been adapting to altitudes above 8,000 meters in the second half of June.

Then, on June 28, he began his "journey" from Camp 1 (4,200 meters) and reached the summit of Nanga Parbat, where he spend 45 minutes before his descend.

No athlete had managed to cross a serac barrier (7900-8000 meters) on skis. Frankly, Andrzej has achieved more: he completed his entire downward journey on skis without supplemental oxygen.

The round trip took Andrzej approximately 2 days and 9 hours.

It was one of the most complex ski projects I've ever seen in the high mountains. Andrzej had to constantly assess and solve the terrain in real time throughout the descent. On Nanga Parbat, there is no room for chance,

The 2026 Wimbledon Championships has been opened since June 29 and will end on July 12.

During the tournament, a professional tennis player, Alexandra Eala, has beaten defending champion Iga Swiatek and subsequently has become the first player from the Philippines, who has reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam in Open Era.

She shared what her victory meant to her:

I went to train every day after school with my ruffled socks, light-up shoes and chubby cheeks - to younger me this is everything.

It is incredible to have my countrymen cheering me on, knowing that we are all in this together.

This goes out to them, my family and all the girls with ruffled socks and chubby cheeks. It means the world.

Adidas has introduced the new ‘Chaos vs Control’ pack, which includes F50 and Predator boots with new fresh colourways.

The pack will come out during the closing stages of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Lamine Yamal, Jude Bellingham, Pedri and Ousmane Dembélé are going to wear the new designs.

The boots are made for different playing styles: the F50 focuses on speed, while the Predator is about precision and control.

Both models will be available from July 8.

Nike JA 4

Nike has released Nike JA 4 basketball shoe with innovations like TPU JA-Frame, Cushlon 3.0, and SPRPWR sock linear.

(JA 4 is an improved version of JA 3 model).

The JA 4 model was designed in accordance with the Ja Morant's (Portland Trail Blazers hooper😆) shifty and explosive style of play.

As Ja Morant shared:
