Frederic Leighton - The Return of Persephone (1891)
Hermes did not disobey, but straightaway he headed down beneath the depths of the earth,
rushing full speed, leaving behind the abode of Olympus.
And he found the Lord inside his Palace, seated on a funeral couch, along with his duly acquired bedmate, the one who was much under duress, yearning for her mother, and suffering from the unbearable things inflicted on her by the will of the blessed ones. Going near him [Hadês] and stopping, the powerful Argos-killer said to him:
“Hadês! Dark-haired one! King of the dead!
Zeus the Father orders that I have splendid Persephone
brought back up to light from Erebos back to him and his company, so that her mother
may see her with her own eyes and let go of her wrath and terrible mênis
against the immortals."
-Homeric Hymn to Demeter, lines 340-351 (translation by Gregory Nagy)

Keeping it in the Family
Our gods are not yahweh figures that embrace all people regardless of their ethnic and cultural background.
While they do encompass some the more compassionate qualities that we as Hyperboreans also display, they do not welcome all people, nor should they.
Thats what a tribe should do, viewing those outside the family with a skeptical eye, as history has shown us a very effective way to erase a people is to infiltrate from within.
When you seek to follow gods and cultural norms outside your own historical ties, then you further remove yourself from your heathen heritage and birthright.
Keep it close to home Hyperborean, your soul will resonate with the spirituality of your ancestors and gain the favor of familial gods.

We are here as two groups of people. One group is the warriors, they are here for the battlefield. The other group is the healers; we are here for the aftermath. To take care of the survivals and injured or rebuild our destroyed nations.
Some especially strong souls are here for both the fight and the aftermath. But please consider this when you compare yourself to others now. We are all here as puzzle pieces, equally needed but different cut.
For example, if it doesn't feel right to you to manifest on the streets - then it's not your place to be now. You're needed elsewhere and only you know where.
Know yourself, find your talents and strengthen them. We are all important.

Navia, Nabia
Statue of Navia in Galicia
Navia River in Asturias
She is a nymph goddess with versatility around rivers, the abundant forests of the valleys, and the fallen. Similar to Artemis of the Greco-Roman religion.
The core of her cult seems to be found at Lusitanian territory in north-central Portugal but has also extended as far north as Galicia, Asturias and western Leon.
To honor Navia, warriors would offer their old swords and shields at riverbeds. Navia was paired with Jupiter by the Romans as what can be seen by epithets on inscriptions left behind in western Hispania. The water flows of her river were believed to represent a passage to the afterlife.

Perun wore a crown made of lightning rods and in his left hand held a thunder hatchet and in his right hand a fire bow. Whenever Perun threw a hatchet, thunder resounded across the land. Wherever he shot an arrow from his bow, lightning struck across the sky. To our ancestors it was as if the sky opened to another dimension.
A storm was an omen. A direct communication from Perun himself, warning the community to stay on the correct path and not to turn its back on the law of the land – the law of nature.
In the Slavic pagan imagination, Perun was personified as powerful, uncompromising, and fierce, but also kind, life-giving and just god. He was the benevolent, but strict father. When all was in balance on earth and in the heavens, Perun was happy, which translated into the generosity of nature, such as a bountiful harvest or a mild winter. But when this finely tuned harmony was disrupted, everyone on earth and in the heavens could feel Perun’s might.

A while ago Dirkje spoke under an old oak about the Witte Wieven to a heathen audience. Witte Wieven translates as White Women or Wise Women. The Witte Wieven are typical Saxon folklore and can be found in the west of Germany and the east of the Netherlands. Now Dirkje wrote a really good article on the Dutch website of the Tribe of the Fox. You don't speak Dutch? No problem...i have a gutfeeling that she is going to make a video about the Witte Wieven in English🙂. https://stamvandevos.nl/witte-wieven-spoken-of-wetende-vrouwen/

Witte Wieven, spoken of wetende vrouwen? - Stam van de Vos
Witte Wieven, spoken of wetende vrouwen. Wat zijn het eigenlijk? Elfen, geesten, godinnen, natuurwezens of wetende vrouwen?Misschien wel allemaal, wie zal het zeggen. Ze zijn er nog steeds, na eeuwen en eeuwen, bewegend door het oud Nederlandse landschap.…

Wearing a Phrygian cap, the Amazon Penthesilea (a warrior queen in Greek Mythology) is about to send an arrow in a hunting scene with several animals and Amazons. The 5-6 th century floor mosaic can be found in the “Villa of the Amazons”, a palatial house, that probably belonged to an important administrator of the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire, who lived in Edessa (nowadays called Urfa).
