Wildflower of the week: Common Hogweed.
Common Hogweed, aka Cows Parsnip (and easier to find online as such), is a common flower of verges and fields.
Some specimens can grow 7-8 feet!
The flowers are attractive to Ladybirds and butterflies. They usually flower between June and August and produce an average of 5,000 seeds per head.
The leaves can grow to be 16 inches long and are edible. The leaves are best cooked in butter like a green. You MUST, however, make sure that you have correctly identified the plant and have not mistaken it for it's very dangerous cousin Giant Hogweed. Giant Hogweed can cause long term blistering and photosensitivity that can leave you unable to go into the sun. You can thank our 19th century ancestors for bringing this dangerous plant over from Asia and letting it escape.

Years ago when I was sharing information on mysterious populations of a very wise advanced Caucasian people who were deliberately erased from historical records, or deliberately not included in official history when it was being fabricated, I’ve brought up these tall caucasian mummies of China. Another example of such unknown caucasian inhabitants that are not found in official historical records are the Chachapoyas/or Cloud people from northern Peru. Tall caucasian mummies were also found in this location same as in China. Another place where you can find not only folklore, but actual living descendants of an unknown mysterious caucasian inhabitants is New Zealand. There are some documentaries on the internet on the topic of hidden history of New Zealand, and mystery inhabitants who were tall, fair-skinned, and with red or blond hair. This documentary features Maori people who claim that when their Maori ancestors arrived to New Zealand, it was already populated by white people with red and blond hair. You can find more of this hidden history of mystery white peoples who were erased from official history

Chärchän Man: A Tocharian Tribesman?
The Chärchän Man (or "Cherchen Man") is a mummified male found in the Tarim Basin.
He died approx. aged 50, and he was 178cm tall with hair 'reddish brown flecked with grey, framing high cheekbones'. He also had an 'aquiline long nose, full lips and a ginger beard', according to cursory analysis done on the body. Some of his clothing displayed patterns described as 'tartan'.
Basic genetic studies showed that the deceased carried Y DNA Haplogroup R1a, common amongst Indo-Europeans who migrated eastwards, and further in-depth studies demonstrated Chärchän Man's European heritage.
Furthermore, it has been speculated that this individual died whilst infected with Y. pestis, the bacteria known to cause Bunbonic plague.
