Leshy are a spirit or tutelary deity in Slavic cultures. They are usually depicted as older bearded men with plant like hair, though more modern depictions make them more "Ent" like than "Woodwose" like. They can shapeshift into anything in their forests and their size changes from as tall as a tree in the heart of their forest to the size of an insect at the edge. They are also known to gamble and bet resources from their forest, with one odd happening being the shifting of squirrel populations from one Slavic forest to another one, as if a Leshy was shepherding his losses to the victor.-TLK

Our old European gods and goddesses are still with us and make contact with us. Each and every heathen deity has their own energy. For instance my patron deity Hel has a winterenergy and Donar matches well with summerenergy. I am still learning about Nehalennia by shamanic journeying but she seems to fit in several seasons and energies. So how about spring? Ostara is defenitely a springgoddes and Freyer and Freya for sure. In this video Dirkje shares her wisdom about Freya: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyjyuVWSFlY
