Leshy are a spirit or tutelary deity in Slavic cultures. They are usually depicted as older bearded men with plant like hair, though more modern depictions make them more "Ent" like than "Woodwose" like. They can shapeshift into anything in their forests and their size changes from as tall as a tree in the heart of their forest to the size of an insect at the edge. They are also known to gamble and bet resources from their forest, with one odd happening being the shifting of squirrel populations from one Slavic forest to another one, as if a Leshy was shepherding his losses to the victor.-TLK
Bajun cat is a huge magical talking cat of Russian tales. He is famous for lulling unfortunate people with his mesmerizing singing, and then killing them with his iron claws.
