Years ago I was posting pictures like this to show that there are forces in this world that want to change all things natural and organic to artificial, synthetic. I pointed out that there are people in power who are continuously destroying the natural green forests and hills, and building modern urban cities instead that make our planet look like a Circuit board or computer chips. Now years later I’m finally starting to notice that other people are talking about the same thing

Small scale family pig farm versus pigs being factory farmed. Huge difference! One is clearly much more humane, much more kinder, more natural for the animals, and the other one is cruel, inhumane, horrible for the animals. In small family farms the animals can enjoy life, be happy, be with their family and friends before they have to give their lives to feed humans. The factory farming forces animals into a miserable existence where they constantly experience physical & emotional pain and distress, where they are crammed by the thousands standing in their own filth, where the mothers are immediately separated from their young after birth.

Gone are the days before the massive supermarkets, when every neighborhood had their meat shop, deli shop, dairy shop, bread shop, etc... These shops were ran by local families. The small independent shops brought community together, because everyone in the neighborhood knew their local families that ran the shops. Local shops were much more cozier, and provided a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for the customers. In smaller shops, neighbors were more likely to run into each other, and have a chat. And not to mention, it provided a really amazing trade for families to do together. With the small local shops mostly gone now, and replaced by giant supermarkets, we lost family centered trades. Families built up their businesses together, and it would be passed s on from generation to generation.
