Wildman
The Wild Man is an anthropomorphic being with giant powers, hairy body and moss/foliage as clothing; symbolizing the untamed forces of nature and physical strength. His way of life was considered, on the one hand primitive, but on the other hand paradisaical and close to nature.
He is called 'woodwose' in Old-English, 'wildermann' in German, 'homme sauvage' in French, 'uomo selvatico' in Italian and 'leshy' in Russian. (Also referred to as 'Hercules'.)

All newer neighborhoods in my city have exactly the same water treatment facilities with identical massive water tanks. Water treatment facilities are typically viewed as a sign of human evolution and progression. Water treatment facilities fall into the category of modern day conveniences that make modern civilization so much better than the one of our ancestors. We only tend to pay attention to the benefits of modern-day conveniences, but we never usually see the damage it causes. It’s true water treatment facilities, and running water in the house makes it very convenient, but as far as it being healthy, I am not so sure. Very often the water that comes out of our Fossett, shower, and water hose smells of bleach. If we learned the full truth about the amount of chemicals the government adds to our water supply, and the severity of its toxicity levels, we may not feel so positively about these water treatment facilities. In the olden days, there were pure fresh water sources all over the earth.
In the olden days of our ancestors there was clean, pure, fresh water everywhere. For the longest time official sources have been saying that medieval water supply was not safe to drink, and this is why they drank so much wine and beer and such. I never accepted this as truth. Thankfully in more recent times some scholars reject this notion that old the world civilization didn’t have pure safe water sources. Clean fresh water was everywhere. So why did we decide to fix something that wasn’t even broken, something that was already so perfect? Nature provided us with everything we may need to live comfortably and beautifully on this majestic planet. I love visiting Gatlinburg Tennessee for vacation, and each year that I go, I have a few places that I stop by to visit and I always take a drink of the cold mountain water that comes down from the top of the mountain. There in the mountains, there are little streams just about anywhere you go, and the water is cold pure and delicious. I drank water from two different streams. 3 times from one, and twice from the other one, and I never got sick from that water. I’m not saying we should all move into the forest, and never use anything from the modern world. We were born into this world, and we can’t just leave it cold turkey, and separate ourselves from civilization: However, it’s very clear that this water treatment facilities is a very unstable system that causes harm not only to human health, but also to the environment. Most people would agree that there’s something very wrong with our government adding a ton of harmful toxic chemicals to our water supply
Until just recently we’ve been told by historians, and other academics that medieval people had to drink a lot of beer and wine, because water was unsafe to drink. I don’t believe water was unsafe to drink, unless of course we are talking about more urbanized densely populated areas, which would make sense, because this is not a natural way for humans to exist. Cramming a bunch of people together in small space is no different from what is happening with the factory farming and how they raise animals. Factory farming crams masses of animals into small spaces, and because this is so unnatural for animals to exist they develop all kinds of diseases and illnesses. Factory farming also spills it’s poison onto the environment.
I burned my first Marzanna/Morana/Morena/Mora/More effigy in my backyard on Saturday, March 20th. It was my first Slavic pagan annual ritual. I did it by myself. It was an ancient Slavic Spring equinox ritual that goes together with the Slavic Maslenitsa/pancake week. The maker of this video picked the wrong music for it. The music they picked sounds Native American, and it should be Slavic. What a shame.

I was going to make a much better looking Marzanna/Morana doll, but I ended up not having the free time to make one of a better quality. So I just burned what I had. Plus I was just doing it alone, very small scale in my backyard, so it didn’t really matter what my effigy looked like.

The oldest instrument in Norway is the 'bukkehorn'. It is the horn of the billy goat, in use since the Stone Age. There little knowledge of the ritual use of these instruments than of their function as tools. It was traditionally used by shepherds and milkmaids on summer dairy farms in the mountains, as a signal-instrument or as a scaring instrument.
