Veles is my favorite Slavic god. I like that Veles is the god of earth. Veles is loosely related to Greek Dionysus, and has parallels with other horned deities/Gods. The Celtic Cernunnos, the Greek Dionysus, Veles and Vedic Shiva have snake and bull among their symbols.
Official sources list many attributes and associations on Veles, but I see Veles as an earthbound god, much like the faerie folk. They are creatures of earthly nature. I don’t believe Veles lived together with the other gods in some otherworldly realm of the gods. Veles is tied to earth.
I’ve read that Veles is god of underworld and the dead, but if so, exactly where does this come from? Which authentic sources say this, and how do these sources define the underworld? Supposedly, gods like Perun were considered as gods of the heaven, and Veles was god of underworld. I’m far from an expert on this subject, but to me this doesn’t seem like a correct way of looking at the gods.

It’s also said that Veles is associated with cattle, but I see Veles as being associated with the entire animal kingdom, and with the animalistic part of the human psyche/consciousness.
I think Veles is also associated with pleasures of life, altered consciousness, state of ecstasy, sexuality, fertility, intoxication, hypnosis, seduction, trickery, mischief,music, dancing, magic... To me Veles is associated with this earthly realm, and wild, untamed nature... This is only my personal interpretation, and my belief of what Veles represents.
For the main part, I’m drawn to Veles, because of his earthliness, and might I say his humanness. When I say I love the earth, I actually mean it. I really do love earth. Seeing harm being done to earth hurts me emotionally. I do look to the stars, and do wish to voyage across the universe. I am curious about what is out there in deep space, but my heart is here on earth. No other planet compares to our earth...

When I first saw middle earth in films LOTR & HOBBIT, I fell in love with that world. It’s considered fantasy of course, but I’ve always felt there was truth in it. I decided to search for any evidence on our planet that similar cities may have existed. As I was looking through the images of the remaining ancient ruins on our planet, specifically the rock-cut ruins, it somewhat reminded me of the gorgeous cities from Middle Earth... Here I’ve included some images of actual real life ruins and images of fantasy world of middle earth... Now remember that the images of real ruins are of worn-away, decayed, crumbling structures that are very old, and have been severely eroded by time. Just try to imagine what these ancient sites must have looked like when they were whole and in use...

Aside from all of the brilliant hi-tech ruins and rock-cut temples and palaces we have left on the earth, there are also countless sunken cities, as well as underground cities.... This Hindu gentleman Amish Shah a founder of community “Ancient Explorers” went on an independent expedition to learn what he can about why excavation of sunken city Dwarka was abruptly shut down by Indian government. Feels like some conspiracy is taking place, and that Indian government is hiding something. Original professionals that were working on excavating Dwarka were made to suddenly pack up and leave. They were not given any explanation on why. He includes a brief discussion on ancient Vedic texts that mention ancient war. He talks about the ancients using a weapon of mass destruction that was like an astroid, or comet hitting the earth... Some people believe that the beings responsible for building all these Advanced cities around the world were some non human aliens, but I don’t agree. I believe they were regular humans just like us today, only much more intelligent. They were human, only with higher consciousness, and in possession of ancient knowledge, and advanced technology.
Something large hit our earth. The questions are: How many times did it happen? Exactly when did it happen? Was is it natural or artificially controlled? For the longest time alternative circles were focusing on some extremely ancient cataclysm, but recently many people are exploring the possibility of a more recent cataclysms. People are trying to find out whether it was a natural astroid or comet, or it was sent to earth artificially as a form of a weapon. I am not subscribing to any theories, or hypotheses yet. All we can do for now is speculate, hypothesize, and entertain possibilities. To be honest, I find it very hard to take seriously those official academic specialists, who speak of earth events that took place hundreds of thousands, millions, or billions of years ago. I do not trust their official dating methods that heavily rely on assumptions. We don’t even know clearly what took place on this earth 200 years ago let alone thousands if not millions of years ago...
