I have dealt with extreme personality disorder in someone close to me for years. I've observed how mental disorders can be made much worse by religion since I was a child.
More recently, I started noticing very problematic behaviors even in pagan circles. It's a constellation of various points, not one isolated cause. But one issue among the many is that disaffected, ill-adjusted people are being affected by the problems of the modern world to a quicker and more extreme degree than well-adjusted and mentally stable people who are comfortable and haven't woken up to big issues that we see unfolding before our eyes. When people are comfortable, they aren't shaken to attention. So it's the people who are uncomfortable, broken in some way, who are unfortunately over-represented in the "dissident" scene.
I'm mentioning this because I know I'm not the only one who has had some run ins with severally unstable people in these circles. Ideologies of any kind can and often are mixed up with mental illness. It doesn't always matter if the ideology is good or bad, right or wrong. Unstable people enter any and all spheres.
This video uses Christianity as the vehicle to discuss toxic people within an ideological community, but she also says it happens everywhere.
So just be careful. Do not assume someone is your friend just because they share similar ideas. Take your time, don't be quick to trust, and look out for warning signs. This is good advice to live by in life anyway.
This video isn't the best, but if I see anything better, I'll share.

Religious Narcissists Are Double Trouble
Religious Narcissists are double trouble because they use religion to hide their wicked ways. They are dangerous because of the trust that is usually placed upon them as authoritarian religious figures, ministers of God or spiritual people.

Decorating a new home from scratch on a budget isn’t easy but I’m hoping to fill my home with decorative items of symbolic meaning. Some of which I will make by hand myself. Green Man is protective and bringer of fertility and prosperity into the home. It’s great to support independent artisans where we can but this is difficult when money is tight. I know how we all feel about the big global conglomerates, but I also think we need to ride the tiger where and when it makes sense and it suits us to do so. I’m on a shoestring budget and caught between two worlds for awhile, meaning my accounts are in another country and many sellers can’t or won’t process my payment. I’m also without a car in a new land. So for now, being able to find items I can afford that can be delivered to me inexpensively is a boon. As I work to evolve my situation, I can ween myself off the big conglomerates and return to supporting local businesses & indie artisans. In any case, may the Green Man bless my new home 🏡 ❤️ 🌳 🦋

This video doesn’t discuss what I say in this post, but, Greek Olympian gods don’t match the modern-day Greek population with darker complexion, and dark hair and eyes. Our history was distorted beyond recognition, and so we don’t really know our true past. We only know a version of history, a fabrication of semi-truths and lies. Nobody within the academic world seems to pay attention to the fact that nearly all, if not all of the Olympian Greek goddesses, gods, famous rulers heroes and warriors were specifically described as “fair-skinned ”, “blond” or “”golden locks” and “blue-eyed”. Pretty much Ancient Greek Royal bloodline, ancient Greek Olympian gods and goddesses, heroes, and warriors were all tall, mostly blonde, and blue-eyed caucasians. There’s a lot of hidden history there
This is a good source where you can find the description of Greek gods and goddesses, famous rulers and warriors, and these descriptions always depict the Greek gods and goddesses as fair-skinned, usually blond, with light color eyes. I’m not sharing this information because I’m promoting some sort of white supremacy. I’m not even blonde with blue eyes myself. My skin is white but my hair is chestnut brown, and eyes are light brown/Hazel. I’m mixed between Slavic/Russian mother, and Armenian father. So my sharing of this information has nothing to do with promoting any race. I am simply trying to uncover the truth, whatever the truth may be
When our ancestors lived in small communities/villages/tribes, they built their own homes. People from the village/tribe would gather to help each other build their homes. That’s how it was done back in the day. Sure, their homes were not large, spacious houses like what we have in the modern world, but the materials they used, and the quality of work back then was far more superior to what we have today. Their houses might have been a little smaller than modern day homes, but they were cozy and sturdy, and lasted a long time. Our ancestors didn’t spend that much time inside anyway, because they were outside working on their garden and taking care of their animals, or hunting and foraging in the forest, and fishing in the local lake or river.
I have a hard time trusting these types of documentaries. I’m already aware that official history can’t be trusted. So therefore the official history of Mayan civilization is no exception. There also is no proof whatsoever that the Mayans built those pyramids and cities. To me it’s very possible that the Mayan simply found those cities and pyramids already standing. The Mayans came up on these pyramids and empty cities, and they tried to fixed them up, and use them, live in them. To me this makes much more sense than the official Mayan history. If you examine the megalithic structures that are officially labeled as “Mayan cities” you can clearly see how they tried to reconstruct these structures. You can see it in the different styles of building, and different rocks used. The bottom layers of the megaliths usually look very precisely built, very high-tech, large stones, but as you go up the layers you can start seeing primitive building style, with sloppy work, and very small stones. I’m not denying that the Maya people lived there. I’m just not sure if there’s and real evidence to back up official history of massive, advanced Mayan civilization that of course somehow mysteriously disappeared according to official history. Some alternative researchers claimed that according to Mayan folklore and mythology, they were taught everything they knew by the survivors of ancient advanced civilization that was destroyed by a global flood/cataclysm.
