It may even be, that the information on a particular pagan god/goddess that comes from the organic original source, which is the indigenous people themselves and their ancient knowledge that was passed down through the oral tradition, will not match the information on the same pagan god/goddess that you get from official/academic sources

People speak of “Grandmother Ayahuasca” as a teacher connected to the plant. Absinthe users spoke of the “Green Fairy” who was especially inspiring to artists and poets. PhD mycologist Paul Stamets has asserted that mushrooms have a consciousness and they are a spiritual teacher. We are people of the Northern Woodlands (mushroom habitat), these mushrooms were highly prevalent in all of our ethno-spiritual cultural art, even in our holiday cards up until the paradigm shift of 1945. Never let someone push you into trying something that you don’t feel called to try. But, likewise, be VERY suspicious of anyone claiming to be a voice for indigenous European revival who endorses an Abrahamic view of entheogens. It’s almost certain that these mushrooms would have been one ingredient in the Aryan sacred drink called Soma. They’ve been an amazing teacher for me. What guides you might be different. Just know that shamanic spiritual guides are there for you, too. Your intuition will bring you to them if you want them.

I had a feeling that the church took over many public buildings after they gained power. They claimed some of the buildings, cathedrals, and other structures that were already standing. Some of these buildings may have been there long before Christians took it over. I think the christians converted some public buildings into their churches/Christian Cathedrals. They probably did this all around the world. They placed their inscriptions on ancient ruins too to make it seem as if Christians created them. It’s not impossible for them to convert such large structures to better suit their needs. Wealthy people have actually moved entire buildings from one continent to another. And we already know even from official records that the church tore down pagan temples everywhere and on top of those sacred pagan sites they built their Christian churches.

On cathedrals

I know there are still people around who point at the impressive cathedrals as pinnacle of Christian culture. What if I tell you that this statement is wrong?

Original Christian temples were octagonal (8 corners) and looked very minimalistic. Just look at Jewish architecture. Same spirit.

The impressive Gothic cathedrals with the playful decoration and the massive columns are an expression of the European spirit and originally built to be community centres, to play theatre, meet and celebrate European festivals. The columns resemble mighty tree trunks and the artfully decorated ceilings are a symbol for the European forest.

Also the basic architecture is based on European king halls.

Guess who financed these buildings: wealthy European citizens, not the Vatican. European workforce brought these monuments to life.

The subversive Catholic priests only claimed this accomplishment afterwards.

Cathedrals are inherently European, not Abrahamic!

If they can relocate such large structures, then they can easily reconstruct or convert a large structure from service one purpose to serving a completely different purpose.
