Brand new video clip from the Belarusian fantasy folk band Irdorath, Сэрца Расколата, "Heart is torn apart".
"The story is about brothers and a sister who made a long way to meet and to do together what is so frightfully to do alone: they leave behind the symbols of the past which are dear to their hearts, sacrifice them to the elements of water and fire and then receive their inner liberation."
This band creates its own musical world, filled with echoes of pagan folk, European Medieval Age culture and Belarusian mythology.

I remember one of these. When I left Russia back in 1994 almost everyone in my neighborhood had a family food garden, and cellar. The women would can their harvest, and store in cellar for the winter. Russians are big on growing their own food. Most people own one, or more plots of land, which they utilize for food gardening. Majority of Russian’s who live in cities own dacha houses which is like a Summer vacation house in the country where they grow food.
This lady seems sincere to me. I have a hard time believing most people’s stories about encountering the otherworldly, but this one feels genuine. This was a scene featured in one of the fairy documentaries that is for some reason missing from YouTube. Personally I’ve never had an experience with spiritual/other-dimensional beings, but my mother had an experience one night. She believes it was the slavic spirit domovoi who came to visit her that night. I am always fascinated by this, because I would love to experience with my own consciousness something outside of this mundane reality
This man was also featured in that same fairy documentary. I think people from the old world came into contact with multi-dimensional being that today we call fairies, mythological or supernatural beings more often than people from the modern world, is because modern civilization is almost completely disconnected from the natural world/nature. Modern people exist in an artificial environment and surrounded by technology, and this keeps the others away. I think if we go deep into wild, untamed nature, we will make a connection with the others

“For the Slavs a birch was as a sacred tree. They planted birches in the garden, and a belt of trees around the village believing it would protect them from bad things.
A birch was also widely used in everyday life of peasants. They covered roofs with it, made clothes, shoes and household items. People still use birch brooms in Russian saunas famous for healthy effect on the body. Specially decorated boxes you buy nowadays as souvenirs started as traditional craft long ago.
The first writings of the Slavs were done on the birch bark as the Egyptians did it on papyrus. They are still being discovered hidden in the ground.
In Russian poetry, songs and paintings a birch always had a special place.” http://my-moscow.org/a-birch-tree-as-a-symbol-of-russia/

BRING BACK SMALL FAMILY FARMS
We are finally witnessing some small signs that humanity is starting to very slowly move away from narrow and rigid view of materialism. If I’m not mistaking, unfortunately materialism is still taught to students in schools. However, change is on the horizon, and this is the time of paradigm shift, which includes how humans perceive animals. New studies on animal behavior show that animals are in fact intelligent individuals with preferences, familial bonds, emotional lives. Human attitudes towards animals are becoming of increasing importance in the areas of conservation and welfare, and people are now fighting to end factory farming.

More than 200 million animals are killed for food around the world every day – just on land. This causes harmful gases such as methane. The animals produce waste that pollutes our water sources, soil, and air. Factory farms produce millions of gallons of manure that can spill into waterways from leaking storage lagoons or fields where manure is over-applied to soil. Manure generates hazardous air pollutants and contains contaminants that can endanger human health.
200 million land animals that are killed DAILY require a colossal amount of water and feed. Not to mention the space to produce the feed for 200 million land animals each day, and to store all these animals. All this contributes to deforestation, and other damage to our planet.

Factory farming & industrial agriculture is not only cruel towards animals, and very harmful to environment, it also contributes to poor health. Such a horrible, unnatural way of keeping billions of animals in a filthy, toxic environment results in all kinds of viruses & diseases. The unnatural feeds, hormones, and excessive quantities of antibiotics used on factory farms put the human population at risk for chronic disease, obesity, and drug-resistant bacteria, and pose the threat of major zoonotic disease outbreaks.
