Connection to what? I think it’s the connection to our ethnic roots, our ancestors, organic nature/wilderness, and our own souls, our true authentic selves the way the gods who have created us intended for us to be.

Wolves are a big part of Northern- or Northwest European culture. Odin is accompanied by 2 wolves named Geri and Freki. Angrboda, The Wise One of the Ironwood, is mother to many wolves. But the greatest of all wolves is Fenris. In this era He is bound but when unleashed He will destroy this era so a new one can begin. This is crucial for the cyclic existence that is a law of nature. Yesterday i visited Fenris using a modern methode based on morphic resonance (systemic constallations). It was a beautiful and deep experience to meet this magnificient deity🐺. Hail Fenris and the deities of the Ironwood.

Slavic God Veles is also associated with the wolves, but then again this god is also associated with bears, black birds like ravens and crows, and snakes.

I see Slavic god Veles having a connection to all wild beasts, including the animalistic nature of humans. This is the god of the underworld, death, animals, and wild nature. He is said to be the god of magic, wealth, music, earth and waters. Some sources claim Veles is a trickster god
