I believe it’s very important to absorb as much as you can the knowledge of medicinal and edible wild plants, mushrooms, berries, roots, etc. Every now and then I try to take in some of this sacred knowledge. Today we have the advantage of Internet, which allows us to obtain & share information extremely fast. We cannot allow for this knowledge to die out. Drug companies/pharmaceutical cartel, along with the modern toxic GMO/MSG food producers want us to forget this knowledge forever, and to fully rely on them for their toxic food and medicine. They do not want us to ever be self-sufficient. Knowing about medicinal an edible wild plants, mushrooms, berries, etc. is but a tiny tiny fraction of what our ancient forefathers knew about nature.

The trees can talk. We just forgot their language. Long ago humans were not so disconnected from nature as we are today. Before monotheism has dominated the world, before the age of modern science was born, humanity was very in-tuned with the natural intelligence of the universe/nature, and were able to obtain their knowledge directly from nature. Our ancestors were literally guided & taught by nature & cosmos. Our forefathers had special sages/shamans who knew how to listen to the trees. In my place of birth (Russia) my ancestors had their pre-Christian/orthodox shamanic traditions. One of the things Slavic Volkhvs (shaman priests)would do was to tune-in with the intelligence of the Russian Cedar tree, and other trees, and start listening for the tree to ring, and then translate these vibrations to the people who lived on that land. So they relied on nature to guide them. This wasn’t unique only to Russia. It was worldwide before three Abrahamic religions and materialistic science. I believe the connection between the shamans & wizards of old & the trees was deep and it requires a lot of research
