Gusli is much more important to Russian/Slavic heritage than Balalaika, but this is hidden truth that is only now coming to light. People of Russia and also around the world were programmed to believe that it is the balalaika that’s a traditional Slavic/Russian instrument. However, balalaika although a wonderful musical instrument appears only a few times in Slavic mythology, and to me even this is questionable. Russian/Slavic mythology is full of mention of Gusli. One example from 12th century Cyril Turovsky was threatening Russian/Slavic people if they got caught playing Gusli. There is another example from the 16th century from confession questions one person was claiming that Russian people were scolded by churchmen for playing Gusli during Kupala night. Even the very symbol of Christianity the cross greatly predates Christianity. According to my own independent research, most of, if not all of what Christianity consists of was taken from various ancient pagan religions & traditions, and represented in a distorted form as Christianity.
