Passing of Dr. Befekadu Degife

Dear Addis Ababa University Community,

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Befekadu Degife, Department of Economics.

The department extends its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. Dr. Befekadu contributions to Addis Ababa University, Ethiopian Economics Association and World Bank.
The Department of Economics, and the College will be long remembered.

A funeral will be held tomorrow at Keranyo Medehanialem church at 3:00 PM.
