Odina Askarova is a sophomore student at Webster University in Tashkent. She is deeply interested in learning the skills of leadership and negotiation, profoundly studying entrepreneurship, and seeking to study the world of diplomacy and the political structures of other states. In addition, she is keen on digital art and digital drawing illustrations.
Freelancing as a graphic designer on different platforms and interning at different agencies. Odina used to struggle with imposter syndrome, which started to exacerbate as she grew while extremely pushing her back, preventing her from being confident and having self-doubt. She will share her experience and elaborate on which circumstances helped her overcome this syndrome and why it is critical to be aware of it.

Being raised and living in a remote area with almost no opportunities for people to grow and make steps forward, Tina knows how many young people, especially girls, ignore their potential. Her biggest mission is to stop gender prejudice and bias that girls face, and encourage those from underrepresented communities to make their lives, and the world, better.
The talk is exposing the difficulties encountered by female founders in the tech world, such as the shocking gender gap in startup capital funding and prejudiced Q&A sessions from venture investors. Despite enduring misconceptions, women are breaking down boundaries and changing industries as they become powerful forces in startups. An inside look at Technovation, a significant global IT competition, shows how it empowers girls all across the world. As the story progresses, a strong plea to confront prejudice, uplift women, and acknowledge their unrealized potential is made.

Buranova Sabina, an aspiring first-year student at WIUT and an ordinary person just like anyone in this world who is capable of doing anything if there is a will to exist. Sabina has always been keen on challenging herself out in many spheres to find what’s most perfect for her and there she found a way to not only develop her skills but also bring change through TedxTalk. Her speech on “Potentials risks of AI that you might have not heard about” is self-explanatory, but also interesting. AI has been advancing day by day and slowly changing our future, therefore keeping guard of what is ahead of us should not be a choice but a duty. From a habit of talking to herself while doing the dishes in order to improve her speaking skills, to becoming an actual speaker at TedxWIUT to bring awareness to underrated issues. How many big changes are to be made to her other weird habits is yet unknown. However, as each day passes by, there is always a new update.
