🐉The Place Where Dragons Lived: A Unique Natural Phenomenon

🐲 "Dragon's Nest" is a rocky grotto located in the Teriberka Nature Park on the coast of the Barents Sea, near Murmansk (Russia). It attracts visitors with its unusual rock formations that resemble a dragon's lair, and at the bottom, scattered rounded boulders are called "dragon eggs" according to legends.

🐲 Nearby is the famous "Dragon Eggs" beach, with smooth, rounded stones shaped by the waves—part of the same mythological story about ancient dragons.

🐲 And three kilometers from the "Nest," there is another amazing place — the "Eye of the Dragon." This consists of indentations in the granite cliffs, which fill with water during storms. Most of the time, these hollows are dry, where chemical processes and crystallization of salt solutions occur, giving the "eye" a vibrant, multicolored appearance.

🐉A stunning effect can only be seen when the water recedes from the shore, revealing the hollows in the rocks. One such formation, about two meters long, under specific lighting and angles, resembles a petrified monster frozen in stone millions of years ago.

One day, a traveler asked a boatman to ferry him across the river.
As he climbed aboard, he noticed writing on the oars: one said "Think," the other "Do."

"Those are some interesting oars," the traveler remarked. "Why the labels?"

"Watch this," the boatman said with a grin. He started rowing only with the "Think" oar.

The boat just spun in circles.

"Sometimes I'd get lost in thought—planning, pondering, scheming... But it led nowhere. I was just going in circles, like this boat."

He switched to the "Do" oar. The boat spun the other way.

"Other times, I'd swing to the opposite extreme. Jumping into action without thinking, no plans, no blueprint. Wasted tons of energy and time. Ended up spinning in place again."

"So I labeled the oars," the boatman went on, "as a reminder: for every stroke of the left oar, you need one from the right. Only then do you get where you're going."

The Seventh Champion

Vasily Smyslov was born in Moscow in 1921—he was ten years younger than Mikhail Botvinnik. He inherited his chess talent and love for the game from his father, a fairly strong chess player who had once defeated young Alexander Alekhine. His father was Vasya’s first coach.

As he grew older, Vasya began attending the chess club at the Moscow Palace of Pioneers and competing in tournaments. At 17, he became the USSR Junior Champion and the adult Moscow Champion.

Chess was not Smyslov’s only passion. He also attended a boxing club and took singing quite seriously. He had a magnificent baritone voice, and for a time he even considered a professional singing career, auditioning for the Bolshoi Theatre. However, he was not accepted into the Bolshoi company and concentrated his efforts on chess.
In 1954, he earned the right to play a World Championship match against Botvinnik. The match ended in a draw (just like the 1951 match between Botvinnik and David Bronstein), and Botvinnik retained his title.
Three years later, Smyslov again reached the championship match. This time he won, scoring three points more than his opponent and becoming the seventh World Chess Champion in history. However, at that time the defeated champion had the right to a return match. Botvinnik exercised this right and, in 1958, defeated Smyslov, regaining the title.

Smyslov continued playing as a former champion. He broke virtually every conceivable record of chess longevity. His last major success came in 1984, when at the age of 62 (!) he reached the final of the World Championship Candidates cycle, where he lost to Garry Kasparov, who was exactly three times younger than him at the time.
Smyslov was a positional-style player. His credo was: “I will make 40 good moves, and if you can do the same, the game will end in a draw.” But if his opponent made a mistake, punishment followed immediately. One of his most famous games was played with the black pieces against Paul Keres. Keres attacked and even sacrificed a rook. That was dangerous, but Smyslov defended skillfully. At the critical moment, Keres made a hasty move—and Smyslov won!

If you are thinking about moving to Russia🔥.

Moving to another country is always challenging, especially for families. We recommend planning your move 2-3 years in advance to ensure everything is well-organized. During this time, it's best to visit Russia multiple times as a tourist to understand the country and choose a city to live in.

🔥 Brief Tips:

1. City of Residence: Russia is the world's largest country, multicultural and diverse. Each region has its own lifestyle and culture. Choose an environment that suits your taste: a bustling capital, a cozy coastal town, or a quiet village.

2. Employment: Secure a job in advance by browsing listings on popular Russian websites.

3. Language: Russian is difficult but important. Aim to reach level B1 within a year with regular study and assistance from a tutor.

Recommendations:

1. Visit Russia several times.
2. Decide on a city to live in.
3. Choose an occupation.
4. Learn the language!

🎥✔️ Dmitry Chebotaryov was born on December 15, 1986, in the far eastern city of Khabarovsk. Raised in a close-knit working-class family—his father was a driver and his mother ran a kindergarten—he grew up alongside an older brother and sister. He often credits them with shaping his character and encouraging his early drive to find his own path.

As a young man, Dmitry initially spent two years studying directing at the Khabarovsk State Institute of Culture. But he soon realized his true passion lay in performing, not just orchestrating from behind the scenes. He made the shift to acting and was accepted into the prestigious Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute in Moscow, graduating in 2010 under the tutelage of R. Ovchinnikov.

Armed with his diploma, Dmitry joined the company of the Moscow Drama Theatre named after K. S. Stanislavski, marking the true beginning of his professional career. It was there that he began to establish himself as a versatile stage actor, a quality he would soon bring to the screen.

In film and television, Dmitry has become a familiar face to Russian audiences, thanks to a string of popular projects. His credits range from romantic comedies like Bet on Love (2016) [https://youtu.be/UIatq8ecLnY?si=PHuLJ3P7gPYv6KOX ] and The Bride from Moscow (2016) [https://youtu.be/Yj_r7kgRhUA?si=mLEI_jjJPYWujllB] to the sports drama Coach (2018) [https://youtu.be/MwNZnPZB-Lc?si=boUztDuGg8hnag1k]. He’s also made his mark in blockbuster territory, playing key roles in the superhero universe of Major Grom: Plague Doctor (2020) [https://youtu.be/I-0j-mk3AwI?si=FIM28ovqNwNU8Rw5] and its sequel Major Grom: The Game (2024) [https://youtu.be/3v2gB29f-PM?si=Oyr26xJV-vhj478w]. His genre range is equally evident in fantasy (The Wizard of the Emerald City [https://youtu.be/p3-d9qg9Ew4?si=oIqdEPoAP1gUHeUw]), horror-tinged series (Vampires of the Central Russia), and popular shows like Fitness, Container, and Karamora. This ability to move fluidly between comedy, drama, and action has made him one of the more in-demand actors working in Russia today.

Whether on stage or on set, Dmitry Chebotaryov continues to take on new and challenging work, steadily building a reputation as one of the more dynamic and reliable talents of his generation.
