GUBERLINSKIYE MOUNTAINS, ORENBURG REGION
Located in the eastern part of the Orenburg region. This mountain massif extends for 70 km. The mountains are divided by ravines, gorges, the Guberli River and its tributaries.
The highest point in the range is the Perechnaya Mountain. It’s covered with mostly steppe flora, as well as mosses and lichens. There are deposits of many minerals here, including chromium, copper, and nickel. They form a part of the Ural Mountains and sit alongside the Mugodzhary Mountains.

CHERTOVO GORODISHCHE/DEVIL’S HILLFORT, YELABUGA, TATARSTAN
This is one of the main attractions in Yelabuga. The remains of a fortified settlement on the bank of the Kama River, near the town of Yelabuga. Originally it was the stronghold of one of the local tribes.
The corner tower of this long-lost structure is a stone hollow cylinder with a metal roof in the form of a low dome.
Today it is cultural heritage site of federal importance.
