1) The movie "The Woman King" is a disgrace as it waters down the Dahomey's (and other slaver's) part in the slave trade...

2) I liked the movie and can ignore the evil depicted. 😲
Answer - many people ignored the evil in "The Birth of the Nation" (1915) like Woodrow Wilson - look that up. Anyway, more power to you...

Answer: Africans sold their own people out en masse. They were the start of the supply chain and no amount of revisionism can change that. The slave trade could not happen at the rate it did without AFRICANS HELPING! It was not all on the Europeans. Moreover, African tribes like Dahomey got filthy rich off of the slave trade.
It should also be noted that every country in AFRICA except 3 (note: these 3 are close in proximity to EUROPE) have SLAVERY TODAY! What is the excuse here?
As far as America is concerned, it was the Founding Father's biblically inspired principles of God given individual rights which put in place the provision for slavery to end less that 100 years later. Consider that more than half of the world's countries have some form of legalized slavery. Why? They do not have a constitution like ours. Should I also mention that American blacks and native Americans also owned thousands of slaves? There's some food for thought on your red pill journey.
