🗝 Cartographie 1502, Imola, Italie.
🇬🇧 Cartography 1502, Imola, Italy.
In 1502 Leonardo da Vinci made this map of the town of Imola in Italy.
It shows the city from the air, so accurately, that 5 centuries later the map is still usable.
A feat for the time, especially since history tells us that everything was done only from the ground...

(Charlie Chaplin)
Buongiorno, anime belle🩵 🪸
🇦🇺 People will always criticise you, speak ill of you, and it will be hard to find someone who likes you just as you are! So live your life, do what your heart tells you to do; life is like a play, but there are no rehearsals: sing, dance, laugh and live every day of your life to the full before the play ends without a round of applause.
(Charlie Chaplin)
Good morning, beautiful souls💗 🌟
(Charlie Chaplin)
Bom dia, almas lindas🐚 ⭐️

👑 Burislav - Between Legend and History | Part 1
Burislav (Danish Burisleif, Old Norse Búrizláf, Latin Burislavus) is a semi‑legendary ruler called “king of the Wends” in Scandinavian sagas of the late 12th–early 13th centuries, set against events at the end of the 10th century. He is portrayed as maintaining ties with notable historical rulers (Harald Bluetooth, Sweyn Forkbeard, Olaf Tryggvason), as the husband of Thyra and father of three daughters, and as a figure variously interpreted by scholars as legendary, identified with Mieszko I, a historical Pomeranian prince, or a later misidentified duke.

👑 Burislav - Between Legend and History | Part 2
Identity and Sources 👤
Burislav (Danish Burisleif, Old Norse/Nordic Búrizláf, Latin Burislavus) — the name of a semi‑legendary “king of the land of the Wends”, that is the Slavs (Old Norse Vínðakonungr, konungr í Vinðlandi, Latin rex Slaviae) mentioned in Scandinavian sagas from the turn of the 12th/13th centuries, in the context of events taking place at the end of the 10th century.
Dynastic Connections 👰🏻🤵🏻
He is credited with maintaining lively contacts with historical rulers such as Harald Bluetooth (d. 987), Sweyn Forkbeard (d. 1014) and Olaf I Tryggvason (d. 1000). Burislav married Thyra, daughter of the Danish king Harald Bluetooth, with whom he had three daughters: Gunhild, who became the wife of Sweyn Forkbeard; Astrid, who was married to the Jomsborg jarl Sigvaldi; and Geira. The latter married a prince of a little‑known coastal country, possibly somewhere on Pomerania, was soon widowed, and after her husband’s death is said to have personally governed some coastal realm with the assistance of a certain Dixin. Later Geira married Olaf Tryggvason, who, sailing from Rus, was driven by a storm to the country of Burislav’s daughter.
Military Alliances ⚔️
Burislav and Olaf Tryggvason are said to have provided military support to Emperor Otto II in the war against Harald Bluetooth (which corresponds to the year 974). After Geira’s death Olaf abandoned a settled life, returned to Viking customs and allegedly married Burislav’s widow, Thyra.
Saga Accounts and Jomsborg
The 12th‑century Jomsvikinga saga attributes to Burislav, as ruler of the “land of the Slavs”, a significant role in the founding by Jarl Palnatoke of the settlement Jomsborg. Similar information appears in Fagrskinna and Óláfs saga Tryggvasonar en mesta.
Main Scholarly Theories 📜
Several main hypotheses concerning Burislav appear in the literature:
1. He was a semi‑legendary or fictional figure combining traits of Mieszko I (chronologically corresponding to him) and Bolesław I the Brave (similarity of names).
2. He is Mieszko I, to whom the described historical events correspond (for example, the marriage of Mieszko’s daughter to Sweyn Forkbeard, documented Polish–Scandinavian contacts, control of Wolin).
3. He was a historical Slavic prince of that name, most likely Pomeranian, living in the 10th century.
4. The name conceals a much later West Pomeranian duke, Bogusław I (d. 1187), contemporary with and known to the saga authors.
5. The forms Burisleif/Búrizláf are more likely Norse distortions of the Slavic name Bolesław (or Bolesław and Bogusław) than evidence of an actual name such as Burzysław.

Mystery... Papillon? 🦋
In the previous post was connecting the soul's appearance as a torus field with angel wings symbolism,
the Greeks called butterflies "Psyche" as the soul looked like a butterfly when it leaves the body ie: Torus field 🦋
Bs and P sounds were mixed during the great scattering of tongues (more recently than we're taught) and it just occurred to me:
Babylon ... Papillon means butterfly 🦋
Mystery Papillon = Mystery of Mind
There is a strong current in Old World research that Babylon may be what we know of as Tartaria in its final days of decay, and that North America was the seat of the empire before great cataclysms approximately 500 years ago.
In Isaiah 14, we're given the story of the King of Babylon, King of the World, Lucifer, like Icarus, whose desire for glory became unholy, and boomeranged to hell.
If these events are much closer in our rear view than we're taught, current events may be more ritualized and controlled than we like to think.
