🔆The Same Deed, different Rewards 🔅
قال التابعي حسان بن عطية :

إِنَّ الرَّجُلَيْنِ لَيَكُونَانِ فِي صَلاَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ
وَإِنَّ بَيْنَهُمَا مِنَ الْفَضْلِ ، لَكَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ
ثُمَّ فَسَّرَ ذَلِكَ
أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمَا يَكُونُ مُقْبِلاً عَلَى اللهِ بِقَلْبِه
وَالآخَرَ سَاهٍ غَافِلٌ
[ الزهد لابن المبارك 96 ]

Hasan bin Atiya said:

Indeed two men pray the same prayer, but between them is a difference in virtue is like the difference between the sky and the earth.
He then explained it by saying: Indeed one of them will be facing Allah with his heart, while the other will be inattentive and heedless.

Ibn Abdul Barr said:

Sins are atoned for by difficulties, pain, diseases, and illnesses, and this is something agreed upon.

If there is any weakness in the Muslims and their enemy has power over them, then the reason for that is their sins and mistakes.

Shaykh Uthaymeen

The Noble Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy upon him) stated:

It is befitting for the man if he is one who is afflicted with (the committing of) an act of disobedience from the acts of disobedience that he is diligent upon not letting his family witness him committing it. I’ll give an example for that in the matter of smoking.  Some of the people are afflicted with this act of disobedience.  Then the person smokes in front of his children and as a result of that they become accustomed to this and possibly smoke as their father smokes.  With that, he (the father) becomes one who has directed (his children) to an evil so upon him is the act of sin and the sin of those who acted upon it (due to him) until the Day of Judgment.

بماذا يحسن إسلام المرء؟


قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -ﷺ-:
《 مِنْ حُسْنِ إسْلَامِ الْمَرْءِ
تَرْكُهُ مَا لَا يَعْنِيهِ 》


📚 حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ
رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ (٢٣١٨)
ابن ماجه (٣٩٧٦)

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, «From the perfection of one’s Islam is to leave alone that which does not concern him».

📚A hasan (good) hadeeth which was related by at-Tirmidhi and others in this fashion.

╠ ساعة الإجابة يوم الجمعة ╣

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ -ﷺ-:

«إِنَّ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ لَسَاعَةً،

لَا يُوَافِقُهَا مُسْلِمٌ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي،

يَسْأَلُ اللهَ خَيْرًا، إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ»

رواه مسلم.

╣The prayer (or supplication) that Allah will answer╠

The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said,

«There is an hour during Friday,
during which no muslim happen to be standing in prayer,
asking Allah for good,
but He (Allah) gives it to him»
