When you achieve some success in life

Beware of who you surround yourself with

Your old friends who have seen you as a loser will do one (or both) of two things:

1. They will try to drag you down to that loser status by talking about the days you were still a loser and constantly referencing that

2. They will put you on a pedestal and pass sly and sarcastic comments about how you barely have any time for them ( high chances of this )

Both of which are FATAL for your growth.

And these can be good natured friends who are just coping with their own failure and stagnation in life. They cant digest your success.

This is why no matter how much you love your friends,

When you achieve some success in life?

It’s CRITICAL to surround yourself with people more successful than you.

People who look at your achievements and go “Huh. Not bad” " keep going "

People who make you realize how insignificant your accomplishments really are,

And HOW FAR YOU HAVE TO GO.

These people will make you excited about the journey up ahead.

It’s so easy to become complacent being the one eyed king amongst blind people.
