الشابة "ميرا جلال ثابات" (20 عامًا)، وحيدة أهلها، من قرية المخطبية في تلكلخ، فُقدت داخل معهد إعداد المدرسين في حي الدبلان بحمص.
وتوضح رسائل صادرة عن ذوي الشابة أن مديرة الشؤون في المعهد تواصلت مع والدة ميرا البارحة، وأصرت على أن تحضر إلى المعهد من أجل تقديم الامتحان كي لا يتم فصلها.

The young woman "Mira Jalal Thabat" (20 years old), the only child of her parents, from the village of Al-Makhtabiya in Talkalakh, went missing inside the Teacher Preparation Institute in the Al-Dablan neighborhood of Homs.
Messages from the young woman’s family indicate that the head of administrative affairs at the institute contacted Mira's mother yesterday, insisting that she come to the institute to take an exam in order to avoid expulsion.

داخل المدينة الجامعية في حمص، تجمّع عدد من الطلاب وأطلقوا هتافات طائفية. عباس الخصواني، طالب في السنة الخامسة لهندسة البترول في جامعة حمص، كان المحرض الأول على اقتـحام غرف طلاب السويداء.
الخصواني، الذي شارك في مجزرة الساحل، قاد مجموعة من الطلاب المتشددين في تكسير الأبواب وإطلاق النار على الغرف. أسفر الهجوم عن إصابة عدة طلاب، من بينهم إصابة بالغة تعتبر قاتلة.

Within Homs University City, a group of students gathered and chanted sectarian slogans. Abbas Al-Khaswani, a fifth-year Petroleum Engineering student at Homs University, was the primary instigator behind the raid on Sweida students’ rooms.
Al-Khaswani, who was involved in the Coastal Massacre, led a group of radical students to smash doors and open fire on the rooms. The attack resulted in several injuries, including one critical and potentially fatal.
