About once every two weeks, I come back to my Mint desktop like this. Linux is not nearly ready to be a desktop OS.

Thinking about a pint type. Not, like... an eighth of a gallon, but like a positive integer.

Also, not an unsigned integer, just like.. an int type's positive half. Yeah, it leaves a lot of potential values on the table (e.g. PInt32 going from 0 to 2^31-1 where UInt32 would go from 0 to 2^32), but we find that to be a perfectly acceptable max value for `int`s anyway so that's fine.

And this way you have fewer problems converting back and forth between a pint and an int than you would a uint and an int because it's no longer "is it positive and does it fit within this range?", instead just "is it positive?"

Smaller problem-space at compile time, means fewer bugs at runtime!

... iiiiinteresting.
I feel like there's... security implications to this? I don't know what that'd be; it just raises my hackles.
So this is actually really fucking bad

The whole infosec community is buzzing about this. Screenshot from: https://cybersecuritynews.com/microsoft-edge-passwords-cleartext/

Welp.

Its settings app is delightful.

But it refuses to allow me to install anything, so...
