This really summarizes what makes Linux maddening to me.
The default image viewer on Mint(I don't even know how I'd go about finding out what it is; it's just called Image Viewer) has a setting which opens a Python console? On a PNG??
but it has zero settings to change which color space it operates in... and it's not in the my monitor's color space, nor the one Cinnamon is in.

I feel like one of the transformations in Our programmingmind which has happened since getting Our CS degree 12 years ago (💀), is that We've slowly replaced jargon with simpler terms.
Instantiation/Transmutation -> Initialization/Conversion
Hydration/inflation -> Loading
Polymorphism -> Inheritance/Conformance
etc.
