The upcoming release of macOS will be the final version of macOS that supports Intel based Macs.

Intel programs will continue to run on Apple Silicon Macs until September 2027.

For the first time I'm aware of, Apple has announced a timeline for security updates: Intel Macs will continue to receive security updates for 3 years, presumably after next November.

Historically, Apple has provided security updates for each version of macOS for just over 1000 days after its initial release, which matches up with their “3 years” promise.

We don't wanna go back to Windows but Mint keeps making the mouse unresponsive and that caused Us to lose some games of Overwatch, which is Our primary use of this computer :<
