Situation southwest of Donetsk: During the last two days Russian Army made some advances in the center part of Novomykhailivka. About 70% of the locality is now under Russian control.

IDF announced the withdrawal of its forces from most of Gaza Strip (Light Green). After six months of fighting, the strip has been destroyed and Palestinian militias badly decimated after months of fighting against a superior army. However, this hasn't been enough to completely defeat the guerrillas, who continue their asymmetrical war against the occupying forces. In this sense, Israeli army is unable to maintain permanent control over Gaza, and if it were to do so, it would be at a high economic and human cost. For this reason, a partial withdrawal from Gaza has been announced.
The end of the battle of Khan Younis will allow the acceleration of preparations for the operation against Rafah, the last stronghold of the Palestinian militias, but also of thousands of civilians who seem to be irremediably condemned to the harshness of war. There is talk of preparations for a humanitarian deployment to help civilians, but little hope, while Israeli troops are preparing for the assault following the arrival of US military aid. The bombardment of Chasov Yar already considerably exceeds that of Bakhmut. Guided bombs have revolutionised the dynamics of the front. Relatively inexpensive bombs which do not require great precision but which allow considerable damage to be done in the area around the impact. This type of weapon has been elemental in destroying the Avdivka defences and remains so for the trench system encountered by the advancing Russian forces. A situation somewhat reminiscent of the Syrian civil war when the air force made use of barrel bombs due to a lack of ammunition. These low-cost bombs were instrumental in destroying rebel positions and paving the way for offensives.
We should not expect a collapse of Ukrainian defences with these guided bombs, but we will see how they will accelerate the advance because of their destructive power (but delivered systematically and not through a general bombing campaign), i.e. locations that in the past were unable to be taken by the Russians are now being taken by Russian Army.

Today Iran has ended its passivity in the face of Israel's numerous attacks and decided to take action. The attack on its embassy in Syria, and thus a direct attack on its sovereign territory, was the red line. This is a turning point in the existing belligerence between Iran and Israel as for the first time it has responded to the latter's aggression and its impunity to act in sovereign states without permission. The downside is the possibility that from today we will enter a major regional conflict in which Israel no longer has the military supremacy it had in the Arab-Israeli wars of the previous century. 🇮🇷🇮🇱
