Statement by the Syrian Islamic Resistance Front regarding the ceasefire:
“Indeed, our soldiers will be the victors.”
To the masses of our resilient nation, and to the free and steadfast men in the trenches of dignity.
Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in the decline of American hegemony in the region. The withdrawal of U.S. occupation forces and their acceptance of the ceasefire do not constitute a “concession” on the part of the aggressor, but rather a bitter submission to the reality imposed by the missiles and drones of the resistance axis on the ground.

The Islamic Resistance Front in Syria declares the following to the world:
- First: The failure of the aggression: The cessation of military operations at this moment is a “death certificate for the U.S. intimidation project. The world’s largest military arsenal has failed to break the will of the Islamic Republic or undermine the cohesion of our axis.”
- Second: Imposition of Rules: The current truce is a direct result of the U.S. certainty that the continuation of the war means the disappearance of its illegitimate bases in the region and the reduction of its interests to ashes.
- Third: Preparation of the battlefields: We affirm that our fighters were and remain in Syria alongside their brothers in Iran, with the highest levels of readiness and preparedness for combat.
- Fourth: The new balance of power. Our waters, airspace, and territory are now more inaccessible to our enemies than ever before. The era of dictates has ended, and a new era has begun in which the peoples of the region are asserting their sovereign rights.
This victory is the fruit of the martyrs’ blood and the unity of the resistance fronts from Tehran to Damascus, Beirut, Sana’a, and Baghdad. We will continue to be the impregnable shield of this nation and the hand that will cut off any hand that attempts to wield our weapons.
God is the protector of steadfastness".

This morning, Israeli Army temporarily detained a Spanish soldier serving with UNIFIL. The Spanish soldier was part of a UN convoy attempting to deliver supplies (food & other resources) to an Indonesian contingent (which recently suffered three casualties in Israeli attacks). Israeli forces blocked the convoy & held the Spanish soldier for less than an hour. He was finally released following direct intervention by UNIFIL command & strong protests from the Spanish Minister of Defense, who described the incident as “absolutely unacceptable.”
Today, Israeli forces also attacked an Italian UNIFIL contingent, and given their decision to intensify their offensive against Lebanon, it cannot be ruled out that more UNIFIL soldiers will be killed, including Spanish soldiers.
It is worth noting that since 2006, Israel has attacked Spanish contingents at least 50 times, resulting in the death of one Spanish soldier from a direct attack. Hezbollah zero.
Spaniards must keep in mind who the real enemy is. 🇪🇸🫂🇱🇧

The Iranians originally presented a 10-point plan that was fundamentally frivolous and completely unacceptable; it was literally thrown in the trash.

Many media outlets erroneously reported that this plan was acceptable to the United States. This is incorrect. With the President’s deadline rapidly approaching and the U.S. military devastating Iran with every passing hour, the regime acknowledged reality to the negotiating team.

They then presented a more reasonable, completely different, and intensified plan. President Trump and his team decided that this new, modified plan was fundamentally negotiable, to align with our own 15-point proposal.

The president’s red lines—which consist of an end to Iran’s enrichment in Iran—have not changed. The idea that Trump would ever accept an Iranian wish list as a deal is completely ridiculous.

Never trust the US.

The responsibility for this massacre lies largely with Israel. However, the Lebanese government itself has not been spared criticism. Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam stated after the ceasefire announcement that “no one can negotiate on behalf of Lebanon except the Lebanese state through its constitutional institutions”—words that were sufficient for Israel to decide that Lebanese territory would not be included in the ceasefire. This is a serious miscalculation by a government that lacks the strength to pursue a robust foreign policy or to assert itself against Hezbollah. Coupled with the embarrassing images from a few days ago of the Lebanese army retreating in the face of the Israeli advance, Salam’s stance has dealt another severe blow to confidence in Lebanese institutions. 🇱🇧

“In such a situation, a bilateral ceasefire or negotiations are not reasonable.” 🇮🇷
