On the morning and evening of March 28, Ansarallah, in coordination with Hezbollah and Iran, launched two waves of missiles and drones, respectively, against Israeli positions in the center and south of the country.
Although two drones were intercepted, the rest of the attacks hit their targets, against a backdrop of the Iron Dome’s weakening, which could be further undermined by the addition of yet another attacker—this time, and unlike in the 2025 war, with greater coordination and preparation.

On Saturday, May 28, and Sunday, May 29, the third wave of the “No Kings” protests took place in several U.S. states, drawing thousands of demonstrators. In addition to the traditional complaints against Trump’s policies—such as mass deportations (ICE), the cost of living, and cuts to rights—there was also opposition to the war against Iran, which is driving up fuel prices and the cost of basic goods.

Syrian and Iraqi resistance forces strike again against the STG and the U.S. 🇮🇶 🇸🇾🇯🇴🇺🇸

STG troops, with U.S. support, shot down several drones heading toward the Tanf base and other outposts near the borders with Iraq and Jordan between March 28 and 30. In addition, the Syrian group Kataib Jund al-Karrar fi Bilad al-Sham attacked U.S. positions at the Muwaffaq Salti base in Jordan.
U.S. troops also intercepted drone attacks originating from Iraq targeting their base in Qasrak, in northeastern Syria, and their former base in Kharab al-Jir, in Rumeilan.

Damascus has announced its readiness to respond to these attacks.
