♦️? The Chvostek sign is a clinical finding associated with hypocalcemia, or low levels of calcium in the blood. This clinical sign refers to a twitch of the facial muscles that occurs when gently tapping an individual's cheek,

♦️Trousseau sign is more specific than Chvostek sign for latent tetany, which can be caused by hypocalcemia, hypomagnesemia and metabolic alkalosis. A positive Trousseau sign is seen in 1%–4% of healthy people. The sensitivity of the sign is not known, but the sign can be absent in patients with definite hypocalcemia.

☝️ Tests for parathyroid gland (Hypocalcemia)

Types of skin grafts

Type I- Monofilament, twisted or braided silk or synthetic fibers. Type II – Cotton or linen fibers or coated natural or synthetic fibers in which the coating contributes to suture diameter without adding strength. Type III – Metal sutures in monofilament or multifilament construction
