* Any abcess wait till become fluctuated except in the following sites: 2B 4ps
1/Breast to avoid destruction of lactiferous duct
2/Brain to curoid destruction of important0areas and Centers
3/parotid gland to avoid facial nerve injury
4/palm = to avoid injury of palmer nerves and Vesseles
5/perianal  to avoid formation of and fistula
6 /perinephric → to avoid destruction of Kidney.
*In these sites the abcess should be drained. immediately under general anesthesie and not wait for flactution because it's lake sign

Absent of pulse of dorsalis pedis aa is normal in 20% of pateint

Surgical pearls:
Signs of appendicitis:
1/Rovsing’s sign
RLQ pain with palpation of
LLQ
2/Psoas sign
RLQ pain on passive 
extension of the right hip or 
active flexion of the right hip in
Retrocecal appendix
3/ Obturator sign
RLQ pain on internal rotation of the hip, typical of a pelvic appendix
4/ McBurney’s sign
Tenderness to palpation at McBurney’s point

Congestion of face due to obstruction great veins &trachea at thoracic inlet by retrosternal goiter when pt rise up his arms.

11] Thyroid = 4_6 cm , 10_20g in weight ,extend from C5_T1 & below thyroid cartilage to 4th , 5th tracheal ring

13] GB = 7 _ 10 cm , broad 3cm , capacity 30_50cc

14] CBD = 7,5cm (3inch)

15] Appendix = 7,5 _ 10cm
