The Messenger ‎[ﷺ] stated:

❝Death approached a man and when he had no hope of surviving, he said to his family, ‘When I die, gather much wood and build a fire to burn me. When the fire has eaten my flesh and reached my bones, take my bones and grind them and scatter the resulting dust in the sea on a windy day, for I swear by Allāh, if Allāh takes hold of me, He will punish me with a punishment that He has not punished any of the creation with.’ So that was done, but Allāh collected his scattered particles and brought him back together and asked him, ‘Why did you do that?’ The man replied, ‘Out of fear of you.’ So Allāh forgave him.❞

[Reported By al-Bukhārī And Muslim | Translated By Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Wahid]

Ibn Taymiyyah [رحمه الله] stated:

❝So this man was in doubt regarding the ability of Allāh and in His resurrection of him if he was mere dust. Rather he was certain that he would not be resurrected; and this is disbelief by the consensus of the Muslims, but he was ignorant, and he did not know that. He was a believer who feared that Allāh would punish him, but He forgave him. And the one who has an [incorrect] interpretation or understanding from the people of jurisprudence, those ardent in their following of the Messenger, then they are more deserving of forgiveness than the likes of this man.❞

[Majmūʿ al-Fatāwā, (3/231) | Translated By Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Wahid]

The love and mercy of grandparents.

From the beautiful blessings that Allāh عز وجل has granted us are the special relationships He places in our lives, and from the most beautiful and heart-warming of them is the bond between grandparents and their grandchildren.

Subhān Allāh, it is truly one of the most amazing and loving relationships. The love our parents show to their grandchildren is something so amazing. The same parents who were strict with us now soften, and overlook things they never would have overlooked with us, and we can’t help but smile and laugh, lol, alhamdulillāh.

And how protective they become over their grandchildren, the care, the du'ās, the affection, the school runs, etc, it is something truly special.

By Allāh, it is a beautiful bond. When you witness how grandparents are with their grandchildren, it increases your love for your parents, and it deepens your affection for your children, and for your nieces and nephews. It reminds you of the mercy Allāh places within families and the blessings of kinship.

So make time for your children to spend that precious time with their grandparents. It brings immense joy to their hearts and creates memories filled with love and happiness.

Even if distance separates them, Alhamdulillāh, Allāh has blessed us with means like video calls, etc, so make use of them and keep those bonds alive.

May Allāh forgive us, our parents, our grandparents, our uncles and aunties, and all of our loved ones, those who have passed away and those who are still among us. May He unite us in goodness in this life and reunite us in Jannatul-Firdaws.

Something so evil, vile, and hated by Allah—yet you find some Muslims keeping close company with those who openly engage in it.

Have you not heard the words of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ: Imām al-Bukhāri (رحمه الله) said:
Narrated by Anas (رضي الله عنه): A man asked the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) concerning the Hour, saying: “When is the Hour?” He replied: “What have you prepared for it?” He said: “Nothing except for the fact that I love Allāh and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم).” He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) replied: “You will be with those who you love.” Anas said: “There was nothing that made us happier than the happiness we felt because of the saying of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم): “You will be with those you love.” Anas said: “As I love the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and Abū Bakr and ʿUmar. I hope to be with them by means of my love for them, even if I have not done as much as they have.”

So ask yourself: who do you truly love?

Where is your الحب في الله والبغض في الله (loving and hating for the sake of Allah)?
Where is your الولاء والبراء (loyalty and disavowal for His sake)?

If you claim to love Allah, then your القلب (heart) should incline toward what He loves and turn away from what He hates.

Be careful who you stand with, who you defend, and who you keep close—because companionship is not light. It shapes your heart, your path, and ultimately your end.
