ما هو نظام الجودة 6sigma ؟
يعد مفهوم "6 سيجما" أحد أشهر المفاهيم الإدارية في عالم إدارة الجودة الشاملة وقد ظهر هذا المفهوم في شركة موتورولا الأمريكية في بداية الثمانينيات من القرن الماضي، وحقق انتشاراً واسعاً وبدأت كبرى الشركات العالمية بتبنيه وتطبيقه على إجراءاتها الإدارية المختلفة.
وتعد كلاً من آللايد سيجنل وجنرال إلكتريك وجونسون آند جونسون وبنك أوف أمريكا من بين أشهر الشركات العالمية التي تعتمد مفهوم "6 سيجما" للجودة.
ويعتمد نظام (6 سيجما) على التحليل المتزايد للبيانات والإحصائيات المجمعة للتعرف على مواطن الخلل والعيوب في الإجراءات أو المنتجات، وذلك للعمل على معالجتها بشكل دائم ومحاولة تقليل نسبة الأخطاء لتصل إلى نسبة صفر كلما أمكن ذلك.
ويقوم نظام (6 سيجما) على معايير أساسية قوامها تعريف الإجراءات ومن ثم قياس مستواها وتحليلها ثم تطويرها والوصول إلى أعلى مراحل ضبط الجودة في الإجراءات والإنتاج.
أن الدراسات قد أثبتت أن تبني معايير 6 سيجما قد يساهم في توفير ما نسبته 1.2 إلى 4.5 في المئة من الهدر في إيرادات الشركات. ولو افترضنا وجود شركة تحقق إيرادات بنسبة 30 مليون دولار سنوياً يمكن لنظام سيجما المساهمة في توفير مبالغ تتراوح بين 360 ألف دولار إلى 1.35 مليون دولار سنوياً، ويعد هذا الرقم كبيراً ولا بد أن يثير انتباه أي مدير تنفيذي أو رئيس تنفيذي في أي مؤسسة".
