Things to remember while preparing English Section
1. First thing to know is that You have already put in some efforts, so in the last moment don't take tension and work as hard as you can to take advantage of the study you have done. don't waste your efforts. Just keep going. Calm, Relaxed & confident mind are the key to the exam.
2. When it comes to English revision, it's not easy to decide which parts to revise/study which parts to avoid. Just Random study won't help much. Follow the revision plan given below.
3. English is the only subject where a student can score 190+ without any preparation, If the student has good reading skills. Never doubt your English preparations. Scoring well is having more confidence than doing more preparation. Don't get disappointed with the Mock test results.
4. 30 days is a good enough time for you to do a good preparation as far as English is concerned.
5. Revision Plan
* Revise Common Errors - Only Question no Theory. This way you can revise the complete syllabus in 10 hours. Theory part doesn't cover all rules + when a student is covering only theory it has no application in solving the paper. Better Solve 1000 Error Questions
* Vocab - Here You should have a systematic plan. Revise all previous years vocab. Revise Sanctum The Hindu Vocab Collection. Revise important spelling Errors.
* Voice and Narration - These topics cover 25% of the syllabus but you need to give only 5% of the time. Go bit deeper in this. Focus on Imperative sentences and Gerunds and Extra special rules.
* Reading - It's not too late, Read 40 mins daily. This will help you in Passage, Cloze Test, Parajumble, Sentence Improvement, Fillers And Common Errors. Most students don't realize the importance of reading. Reading alone can get you good marks. Try to read 3 months' editorials. there is still time to do so. If you want to excel in English. You Should be reading a lot and read about everything.
* 15 Mock papers are good enough. Mock papers help in GS, Maths and reasoning but these aren't of much help in English. 15 are good enough.
