கொரோனா பரவல் காரணமாக தமிழகத்தில் 9, 10, 11ம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களுக்கு மார்ச் 22ம் தேதி முதல் நேரடி வகுப்புகள் ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஆன்லைன் மூலமாக அவர்களுக்கு பாடங்கள் நடத்தப்பட்டு வரும் சூழலில், 12ம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களுக்கு மட்டும் நேரடி வகுப்புகள் நடைபெறுகின்றன.
இந்நிலையில், தமிழகத்தில் தற்போது கொரோனா 2வது அலை பாதிப்பு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளதாக கூறி, தமிழ்நாடு குழந்தை உரிமைகள் பாதுகாப்பு ஆணையம், பள்ளி கல்வித்துறைக்கு வழிகாட்டு நெறிமுறைகளை அறிவித்துள்ளது.
அதன்படி, வகுப்பறைகளில் மாணவர்கள் சமூக இடைவெளியை பின்பற்றி அமர வைக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்றும், மாணவர்கள் கட்டாயம் முகக்கவசம் அணிந்திருக்க வேண்டும் எனவும் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
