Who was Guru Ravidas ?

Guru Ravidas was a 15th–16th century Indian mystic poet, saint, and social reformer associated with the Bhakti movement. He was born in Varanasi and belonged to the chamar (leatherworker) community, which was considered a lower caste at the time. Despite facing social discrimination, he became a prominent spiritual leader and poet, advocating for equality, unity, and devotion to God.

His hymns emphasized the importance of inner devotion, compassion, and social justice. Many of his verses were included in the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism. Guru Ravidas envisioned an ideal society called Begumpura, a place without caste discrimination, sorrow, or suffering.

His teachings influenced many followers, including Meera Bai, the Rajput princess and poet-saint. Today, his legacy continues through the Ravidassia community, which regards him as their spiritual leader. Today, his birthday is celebrated as Guru Ravidas Jayanti, is an important festival in India. 📚

Bhai log, padhai ni ho rhi is a universal problem lag rha h comments dekh ke👆. Chalo ek-ek ka ilaaj krte hain:

1. Overthinking gang – Jo bhi dimag me chal rha h, ek page pe likho. Fir dekhna kaunse thoughts genuinely zaroori hain aur kaunse bas dimag ka churan bana rakhe ho. Kahi aisa toh ni ki problem hai hi ni, bas mann hi mann me drama chal rha h?

2. UPSC vs UPPCS confused souls – Bhai result toh aa hi jayega, tab dekh lenge kya karna h. Tab tak jo dono exams me common subjects h, unko aise tight pakdo jaise last slice of pizza ho. Time waste ka time ni h ab!

3. Consistency wale bhai-behn – Bas 2 din zabardasti baithe raho padhai pe, chahe jaan nikalti lage. 3rd din dekho, khud se mann karega padhne ka. Padhai bhi ek toxic relationship jaisi hai, pehle majboori lagti hai, fir aadat ban jaati hai.

Ab zyada mat socho, bas lag jao kaam pe!
