Exams like these often end up favouring LUCK more than HARDWORK.
Ideally, it should be a pure test of knowledge, understanding and preparation : but papers like these sometimes turn it into a game of guesses, risk-taking and luck.
Still, the only reassuring part is that it remains a competitive exam. Whatever the difficulty level or unpredictability is, it affects everyone equally. In the end, relative performance matters most.
