China is one of the world oldest civilizations, dating back more than 5 million year and was ruled by successive dynasties untill 1912.

During these time many graet dicoveries in fields of science and technology were made. Including the inventions of printing, paper, gun powder and compass. This priod also saw the construction of many landmarks, such as the great wall which stretches over 4000 miles equals to 30 return travels from Londen to Paris.

After a priod of foriegn occupation and civil war the Commonest Party of China led by Mao, gained control of mainland China in 1949 and established People's Republic of China

The modern China of today is as much shaped by its past as its rapidly looking to the future, while many of its big cities are compatible to any in the west. The underlying culture is still vastly different

Traveling outside larg urbon areas also highlights the growing disparity between rich and poor.

#تاریخچه

کشور چین یکی از کهن ترین تمدنهای دنیاست، تاریخ آن به بیش از 5 میلیون سال پیش بر می گردد و تا سال 1912 توسط پادشاهان متواثر فرماندهی شده است.

در طی دوره ی این زمانها تعدادی اکتشافات عظیم در زمینه ی علم و تکنولوژی ساخته شده است، شامل اختراع چاپ پارچه، ماشین چاپ، کاغذ، باروت، و قطب نما. این دوره همچنین ایجاد تعدادی وقایع برجسته را به چشم دیده، مانند دیوار بزرگ چین که بیش از 4000 مایل امتداد دارد، هم اندازه با 30 سفر از لندن به پاریس!

بعد از یک دوره اشغال چین توسط خارجی ها و جنگ داخلی، در سال 1949 حزب کمونیست چین به ریاست مائو (Mao)، کنترل سرزمین چین را بدست آورد و جهموری خلق چین را بنا نهاد.

کشور چین مدرن امروز به همان اندازه که از گذشته اش شکل گرقته، به آینده چشم انداز دارد، در حالی که تعداد زیادی از شهرهای بزرگ آن با کلان شهرهای غرب همساز نیستند. اساس فرهنگ هنوز به طور گسترده ای متفاوت است.

توسعه ی مناطق بزرگ شهری همچنین به اختلاف روزافزون بین ثروتمند و فقیر دامن می زند.
