Gold price crosses ₹71,000 per 10 grams for the first time

Gold prices hit new lifetime highs on Monday as Gold contracts on MCX hit a life high of ₹71,080 per 10 grams as it rose ₹440 or 0.62% amid a firm buying in precious metals. Around 10 am, gold traded firmly in green at ₹71,030. Silver futures also reached a new peak of ₹82,064 per kilogram during the day.

One can experience the total solar eclipse with NASA. The space agency will start its live stream on April 8 at 5:00 pm GMT (10:30 pm IST) and continue until 8:00 pm GMT (1:30 am IST).

The whole event will take about two and a half hours, but totality will only last about four minutes.
