Anderson Cooper just said on CNN that the playing of the national anthem & pledge of allegiance on national television were a moment of grace & decorum.

The criminal trials are necessary, but politically the wind beneath his wings.
#ErinBurnett just said the most important thing of the night on CNN: where does Nikki Haley win after NH?

Answer: NO WHERE.

There are 0 states, including those of both surviving MAGA candidates, where Trump will lose. Trump is the de facto GOP/MAGA nominee.
Kaboom!

The former governor of South Carolina on CNN just said:

“STATES RIGHTS NOW!”

It elicited no follow-up from Jake Tapper.

Haley proved Christie correct about being a lightweight. Completely exposed on the Constitution question.
"Chris Christie is out. That means Donald Trump’s fantastical lies, insanities & sedition have prevailed if not yet at the ballot box, but within the whole of the GOP."

It's more clear than ever that there is no dissent against Trump left within the GOP: bit.ly/3O0A9qC
"Should Donald Trump return to power, every second of the ubiquitous chaos of the last eight years will be a historical blip, a speed bump barely worth a few paragraphs."

"It was as dishonest and cowardly a statement that could possibly be made by a woman who grew up facing real discrimination in the cradle of the Confederacy."

"The evil that came to pass in Auschwitz first came to pass in an election. The Nazis didn’t run on Auschwitz. In fact, they kept it a secret. Their issue was national greatness, inflation and jobs."

It is always important to be able to distinguish between what extremists will say to get power, and what they intend to do with it: bit.ly/420XqOW

"Today is a day where we remember the capacity for greatness within a human being and his message of love, peace and justice."

As Donald Trump and MAGA push their lies and hate, we must fight to honor Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy: youtu.be/gthlX_iYRiY
"Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King were murdered by white supremacists nearly 100 years apart in events linked by an enduring American battle between an insidious malevolence and the rising tide of freedom."

"Nikki Haley has a rationale that says she may be able to win one state in New Hampshire, but her lackluster showing this evening would seem to suggest she's not going to have much bounce coming out of Iowa, which doesn't set her up well to make a run at Donald Trump."

"What Donald Trump is signaling is he is the de facto Republican nominee, that he's won decisively in Iowa, that he intends to move forward and to win next in New Hampshire. That's the meaning of that speech, incoherent though it may have been."
