❓ What were we doing at the moment of announcing the results?

Do you think there are cheaters in the project? Of course, there are!
And we do not want them to take the prizes

For this reason, a few hours before the results, we did a lot of work:
1️⃣ Our “anti-cheat” created a list of potential violators. Those whose actions and tickets we do not trust based on various criteria. (we won't list them to avoid tempting new ways to cheat)
2️⃣ We automatically excluded malicious violators from the giveaway. Those who 100% tried to deceive us and you.
3️⃣ For those flagged as “potential cheaters” by the anti-cheat system, we had to check manually. Opening each one up and delving into their data, excluding them in case of confirmed violations.
4️⃣ After that, we launched the randomizer.
5️⃣ Then we went through and ensured that among the winners there were no individuals we do not trust. It turned out there were none.

In total, several hundred fraudsters were excluded from the giveaway.

✅ Did we manage to eliminate all of them? Definitely not. But each time we will identify them more, with greater accuracy and speed. And we have only just started. Together, we will defeat all fraudsters and manipulators.

P.S. Why didn't you, one of the 22,000 participants, win an iPhone? A soulless, yet honest randomizer is precisely that – a randomizer, as it selects in a random manner. Next time, luck will be on your side.

You linked your steps, and you may have noticed that the registration process for bots looks quite arduous, especially on Android. It’s easier for bots to tap than to walk. 😂

Therefore, at this moment, we are focusing on cheaters – those who artificially inflate their activity.

– They destroy the spirit of competition.
– They deceive not only us but the entire community.
– They walk (if they even walk) solely for the coins, while the main idea of StepMania is activity and the endorphins that come with it
– It’s simply unfair

We’ve contacted the iPhone winners and are preparing the prizes for shipment. Two smartphones were won by users from St.Petersburg, Russia and Tajikistan. However, the third winner hasn’t responded to our messages yet.
