It's time to announce two new platform updates.
1️⃣ Sunsetting Unlocked Staking
Until now, everyone who wanted to stake STARS on our platform, had 4 staking options:
- Unlocked Staking: Earn Hydrazine without locking up your STARS, but be subject to a 0.767% STARS burn every single day
- 90-day Staking: Earn Hydrazine while locking up your STARS for 90 days. No daily burn
- 180-day Staking: Earn Hydrazine and 15% STARS APR while locking up your STARS for 180 days
- 360-day Staking: Earn Hydrazine and 25% STARS APR, while locking up your STARS for 360 days
After careful consideration we have decided to sunset the Unlocked Staking option in our app. The main reason is that it created confusion and people often didn't fully understand that staking STARS unlocked would go combined with a daily STARS burn, dropping their staked amount significantly over time.
- From now on, you can no longer open a new vault box without locking your STARS for 90, 180 or 360 days
- We have destroyed all vault boxes from people that used the Unlocked staking option. STARS and unclaimed Hydrazine have been sent back to the corresponding wallets
2️⃣ KYC Status directly in the app
You no longer have to leave our app and check your KYC status on Fractal! We now show your KYC status in the top right corner of our app: https://app.starlaunch.com/ with a button that turns red or green, based on your KYC status. This makes it much easier to double check if your KYC is fine and if you can participate in an upcoming sale.
Want to check your Fractal KYC account? Just click on the button and you'll land right in your profile.
Hopefully these 2 new additions to our app will help take away some confusion around unlocked staking & KYC.

Since its inception in 2021, StarLaunch brought the community a mixture of projects that were launching their product and token on the Solana Blockchain. We want the StarLaunch experience to be as seamless as possible for sale participants, so we've added a cross-chain wallets section to your Cadet Profile.
Here, every Cadet can enter their cross-chain wallets addresses. Your Solana wallet will be automatically filled in (since you're connected with it) and we will also use this address to link with Fractal KYC. Once you've filled in your cross-chain wallets, you're ready to participate in the diverse array of sales that we'll be hosting this year!

It's time to reveal the story behind the first planet!🔥
Since its inception in 2021, StarLaunch brought the community a mixture of projects that were launching their product and token on the Solana Blockchain. Last year, we announced that we've expanded our reach to projects on the Ethereum Blockchain, and now it's time to embark on new cosmic adventures together!
We heard you, Cadets! Solana is a blockchain that we all love and it has a great future, an amazing community all around it and great projects building on it. Solana remains our home. That said, there are lots of projects building on other chains that are just too good to ignore. Crypto is an increasingly interconnected space, and we intend to grow with it.
With all the new connections that we've created during the bear market, we are now ready to expand our reach to more chains!
New Wallet Dashboard in your Cadet Profile
We want the StarLaunch experience to be as seamless as possible for sale participants, so we've added a cross-chain wallets section to your Cadet Profile.
Here, every Cadet can enter their cross-chain wallets addresses. Your Solana wallet will be automatically filled in (since you're connected with it) and we will also use this address to link with Fractal KYC. Once you've filled in your cross-chain wallets, you're ready to participate in the diverse array of sales that we'll be hosting this year!
For now, there are 6 Blockchains added to the dashboard:
⦁ Solana (main wallet that's auto filled in, when wallet is connected)
⦁ Ethereum
⦁ Polygon
⦁ Arbitrum
⦁ SUPRA (stay tuned for further updated on this)
⦁ SUI
It might be a good idea to jump in and enter your cross-chain wallets.

Tomorrow the Aethir Node Sale will kick off! 🔥
Here's all the relevant info:
- The total amount of nodes available has been increased to 75! 💪
- There's a maximum of 1 node per person
- Aethir is a project on ARBITRUM and to participate in the sale, you'll need to enter a valid ARBITRUM wallet in your Cadet Dashboard
- We will airdrop your NFT (which is your node license) at a later date, as we receive the licenses from Aethir.
- You will be able to activate your node, when the program goes live in Q2 2024
- KYC is mandatory for this sale
- The entire sale will be FCFS. Once the nodes are sold out, the sale stops
- The sale will take place in our app: https://app.starlaunch.com/node-sale-detail - You can now go to the page to sign the participation smart contract; This saves you time tomorrow.
- There are more OGs than available nodes, so make sure you're well prepared with a warmed up triggerfinger.
Unfortunately Solana is having a lot of congestion issues these last few days, that impact both speed and performance of all blockchain interactions. While we did everything we could to ensure a smooth experience from our side, we're of course dependent on Solana's performance during this sale and there's a chance that we'll run into issues.
Here's the full Sale Schedule:
We're starting with the OG Round at 12PM UTC
- This is the current OG whitelist // If your wallet is not on the list, make sure to check in Zealy if you can complete the OG quest. If your wallet is not on the list by March 19, 2024 10 AM UTC, you won't be able to participate.
The OG Round will be open for 3 hours, or automatically closes when all nodes are sold.
- If there are any nodes left after the OG Round, the Stakers Round opens at 3:30 PM UTC
- The Stakers Round will be open for 3 hours, or automatically closes when all nodes are sold.
- If there are any nodes left after the Stakers Round, the Public Round opens at 7:00 PM UTC
