Max and other core organizers of this Intuitive community network are without safe food, safe water, or emergency supplies for the health complications being caused and compounded by known, active sex trafficking operations in our locations.
Sex traffickers perpetuate the most horrible kinds of violence in contexts of plausible deniability in ways that people have been conditioned to disbelieve, or in order to scare people away from realizing how little resource stability traffickers actually have. This has commonly prevented many people from recognizing how extensively trafficking organizations rely on fear and denial to keep their preferred populations commoditizable.
Max continues to engage outreach and record interviews when she can pull it off --- but must perform in an invisibly extreme and athletic way to communicate normatively. It is self-destructive and suicidal for her to do this amidst life-threatening and severe health complications and without repair support for the physical safety of her body. All our core organizers are affected in similarly destructive ways, having continued to show up to be present and to take what actions they can in service of all our communities. The physical consequences for all our bodies and survival are very real.
If you would encourage us to rest and recover, please pay particular attention to our communications about how we are being actively prevented from rest or recovery.
Our lives are fueling this --- and the deaths of so many of our colleagues, friends, and loved ones.
What you see on camera is our attempt to build the public conversation that we know immediately safeguards our community members.
This conversation must be amplified to all spaces and situations to call forth the people of courage who are ready now to take action.
What you do not see, what is happening off camera between interviews, is very violent and intentional destruction caused by trafficking networks that think they can keep charge of all of us by fomenting fearfulness this way.
They are wrong.
Maybe Max will die, and maybe our other core organizers will die too.
