第19屆 #華府龍舟賽 上周六（21日）舉行，今年比賽中有一批在美國首都華盛頓的港人組隊「#Hongkongers」參與，首次出賽即獲得一金一銅的佳績。活動期間「Hongkongers」又設立文宣攤位，向當地人宣揚香港人的身份及文化。

根據場刊介紹，「Hongkongers」是一批港裔美國人組建的隊伍。隊伍希望通過 #龍舟 賽，團結 #離散港人，加強彼此聯繫，並提高當地人對 #香港文化 的認識，加強港人在華府社區的參與度。

攤位組員Mary說：印象最深刻的是，有香港人來到發現，原來有一群自己人都在這裡，原來可以團結、真的出賽，真的可以連結起來做些活動。我覺得很開心，雖然我們是第一次出賽，我們亦不是一些專業人士去搞活動，但是我們真的「一條心」去做，希望為香港而努力，以及成功融入到這個華府的社區，所以我覺得這是一件很好的事。

This Spring, UKHK is organising a series of Friendship Festivals and receptions across the UK, so we can all have fun together in the sun – people from Hong Kong, local churches and communities, and everyone in the neighbourhood!
