審訊第86天，何桂藍繼續作供，對趙家賢指戴耀廷佔中後成為民主發展較前進概念人士的「帶領者」，何指情況正相反，指戴當時被激進派不斷攻擊甚至唾棄，常發表「創見」但對當時年青人並不吸引。何續解釋，「五大訴求」於6.12衝突後民陣發聲明、和太古廣場墮樓亡的梁凌杰提出4點訴求後有「雛形」，至7.1抗爭者於立法會內讀宣言提及「立即實行雙普選」為第五個訴求為「源起」；而政府其後雖撤回修例，示威者亦不想運動就此結束，自7月起「香港政制不公義」成了運動最核心訴求，雙普選是唯一不變的訴求。

何續指，「攬炒」對不同人可有完全不同意思，而對她來說「攬炒」並非目的，而是一種精神，「就係明知自己會承受好大嘅代價⋯⋯都要堅持做自己認為應該做嘅嘢」，北京和香港政權則會失去對香港的控制。何又指在反抗同時，「必然都係同時建立緊一啲嘢」，最終會導致政權有所削弱，而過程「打開好多空間」，才是運動真正建樹。
